Zhou Yongkang’s Corruption Connections Are Tackled

Former Communist security tsar Zhou Yongkang’s son Zhou
Bin has been pushed into the graft probe since the start of 2014.
Zhou Bin’s young allies such as Guo Lianxing and Jiang Feng
have also been investigated.
Guo Lianxing is the son of former Sichuan Federation of
Literary and Art Circles (SFLAC) Chairman Guo Yongxiang.
Jiang Feng is the son of former state assets auditor Director,
Jiang Jiemin.
Analysts believe that the investigation of Zhou Yongkang has
been extended to all areas and will soon be announced
by the regime.

The recent news from the state supervision office stated that
former Chairman of SFLAC, Guo Yongxiang, was morally
corrupt, using his position and through his son to collect bribes.
His son was referred to Guo Lianxing, the founder of a
Beijing technology firm.

Zhou Bin is known as a mysterious merchant wandering freely
amongst the officials and business circles.
He was taken away by the special task force over 4 months
ago in December 2013.
Around the same time, Jiang Feng and Guo Lianxing were also
taken away.

It is reported that Zhou Bin commissioned a lawyer on
November 25 when learning that he could be detained.
However, the regime has not revealed any alleged crimes of
Zhou Bin and his relatives.

Former history professor Liu Yinquan analyzes, with Zhou
Yongkang’s fans in,the security sector and oil sector in Sichuan,
Hubei, being sacked, as well as the relatives of all the relevant
individuals, Zhou Yongkang’s case will soon be announced.

Liu Yinquan, former history professor: “News like this being
exposed at this time indicates that Zhou Yongkang’s case may
soon be unveiled.
Everyone knows that these younger generations are all in the
businesses, collecting money in the name of their fathers.
Exposing of the sons, of course is to prepare for exposing
their fathers."

Late last year, news revealed, Zhou Bin was detained for being
involved in corruption of hundreds of billion.
The prosecution could lead to a death penalty for Zhou Bin.

Overseas media also reported that Zhou Bin’s family have
profited through PetroChina by at least 98 billion yuan.

Mainland media said that Zhou Bin, Guo Lianxing and Jiang
Feng have profited through their fathers’ positions and chains
and networks of interest. They have colluded together.

Zhou Bin, Guo Lianxing and Jiang Feng were reportedly
acquaintances and had close relationship in business.
Their interactions are due to the years of profound relationships
between their fathers.

Guo Lianxing was born in 1971 when his father Guo Yongxiang
was an ordinary worker at Shengli Oilfield, Shandong.
Zhou Bin was born in 1972 when his father Zhou Yongkang was
the technician captain of Liaohe Petroleum Geology Group Battle
Command area room.

After Zhou Yongkang became the leader in Sichuan,
Guo Yongxiang became his main secretary.
After Zhou Yongkang was promoted to the central, Jiang Jiemin
was transferred from Qinghai Back to PetroChina, and promoted
to be the Chairman of PetroChina.

Prior to Zhou Yongkang being detained for investigation,
Guo became the Chairman of SFLAC, and Jiang became
the state asset audit Director.

It is also reported that after Zhou relocated to Beijing, he called
Liu Han, the largest underworld leader of China, and asked him
to take good care of Zhou Bin.

Liu Han』s case is recently targeted and Zhou Bin was believed
to be the umbrella behind his underworld organization.

Legal expert Zhao Yuanming indicates that the Communist
officials’ offspring are involved in the graft scandal from
exploiting their fathers’ power.

These senior officials have also used their political influences
to provide the youngsters with money-making convenience.

Zhao Yuanming, legal expert: “It is power that provides the
convenience to rip off the state assets and the peoples’ hard
earned money.
When the anti-corruption digs deeper, it will involve not just
the corrupt officials, but also their relatives.
They will surface along with the anti-corruption activities."

Zhao Yuanming says that regardless of the motivation of
Xi Jinping’s anti-corruption, perhaps to eliminate political
opponents, this deep root cleaning out to all corners will
surely deter certain corrupt officials.

Zhao Yuanming: “Many corrupt officials have accumulated so
much wealth that it could cover several generations.
The anti-corruption has to go deep and towards all directions
without any hesitation.
Only when their relatives are also tackled will their crimes be
truly punished."

Zhao Yuanming explains that the corruption is about state
assets, which belong to the entire Chinese.
None of the money should go along with the disappearance of
the corrupt officials.
