【新唐人北京时间2026年02月03日讯】美国佛罗里达州上周日（2月1日）遭遇罕见寒流，导致大量鬣蜥冻昏，从树上掉落下来，数量如此之多，以至于当地政府特别设立临时收集站，接收居民送来的鬣蜥。
上周日，迈阿密、劳德代尔堡和西棕榈滩气温创下历史新低，最低气温达到零下1摄氏度（华氏30度）。这是南佛罗里达15年来最冷的天气。
有害动物移除服务公司Iguana Solutions的基尔戈尔（Jessica Kilgore）对“WPLG local 10”频道表示，她已经收集了“数百磅”的坠落蜥蜴。 她回忆道，上次寒流来袭时，她在海滩上发现了好多冻死的鬣蜥，估计是寒冷的海风将它们从树上吹落的，预计这一次的数量会更多。
通常情况下，佛州法律禁止民众自行移动这些鬣蜥，但今年情况比较严重，佛罗里达州鱼类和野生动物保育委员会（FWC）决定在全州设立临时性的收集点。

对于这一现象，FWC在一份声明中解释，当气温下降并持续到接近冰点或以下时，绿鬣蜥会进入蛰伏状态，暂时失去肌肉控制，看起来像“冻住了”，有时甚至会从树上掉下来。
随着气温回升，这些鬣蜥会恢复正常，它很快就会爬回树上。
绿鬣蜥在佛州被视为入侵物种。据FWC称，它们“对佛罗里达州的环境和经济造成了不利影响”。被送到FWC的鬣蜥要么会被安乐死，要么会被移交给有许可证的人进行销售。
