People of China have another “China Dream”

During the attendance of the “two sessions”,
deputies of the National People´s Congress and
members of political committees were being photographed
in their new clothes and designer bags.
They brought up many shocking proposals.

Meanwhile, different levels of the populace, through a
variety of means, also expressed their own China dream.
The Chinese people have their expectation of a
constitutional democracy and freedom in China.

After the “two sessions" had opened, official media strongly
advocated: marching toward the magnificent “China Dream".
However, Chinese netizens again pulled out data circulating on
the internet last year, calling for a review of nationality of
these so-called “naked officials´ and their family members.

The data show that 76.77% of the Political Consultative
Conference members have a foreign passport,
and 57.47% of the deputies have a foreign passport.

When these representatives of foreign nationality
brought up shocking proposals,
the Chinese people from all walks of life also voiced
their own China dream of a democratic constitution.

Hu Jun, director of China’s “Rights Movement”: “We know that
the situation in China results from our system of dictatorship.
The real “China Dream" is to end the Chinese Communist Party
(CCP), and replace it with a constitutional democracy.
Under democracy, forced demolitions and ditch-oil will disappear.

We need not go to Hong Kong to buy milk powder, and
we´ll have clean food, fresh air, and no fear for what we say.”

Zhang Xin, CEO of Beijing SOHO real estate, told an
interviewer from the U.S. media out of the blue:
“What people in China want the most is not food,
or a house, but democracy.
She hoped that the American people
know about the situation in China.”

Liu Yiming, a freelance writer in mainland China, also
expressed the same aspiration to NTD Television.

Liu: “I hope that China will march towards democracy one day.
Thus, it can solve a series of social problems, and people can live in peace.
Intellectuals have freedom of speech, and media
freedom of the press.
Of course, it also includes freedom of conscience
and freedom of belief.
If you choose something authorities oppose, such as
Falun Gong, it will not be slandered as a cult, and you will not be jailed.”

Former Shandong University professor Sun Wenguang said that

asking for democracy, freedom and the rule of law, and a
constitutional government is the dream of all Chinese people.

Sun Wenguang: “Basically, there is no protection for human rights.
Many people have been deprived of their rights.
As a nation, it is hell for ordinary people,
but a paradise for officials.
If we can make it a paradise for everyone, we would have
personal freedom and freedom of powers defined by the Constitution.
Once our freedom and rights are protected,
we can build a strong and prosperous society.”

On 29th November, 2012, the CCP´s new general secretary
Xi Jinping and other new leaders visited the “Road to Revival"
exhibition in the Chinese Communist Museum.
Xi Jinping said at the time: To achieve the great revival of
China, will be our greatest dream as a nation.
He also confidently said that this dream could be achieved.

Sun Wenguang: “Many people´s rights have been deprived,
their houses taken, and their personal freedom lost.
Many are not allowed to go abroad,
and others are not allowed to come back home.
Under a system, when your rights have been deprived,
how can you talk about happiness?”

Beijing dissidents Li Jincheng pointed out that
if we really want to achieve the revival of China,
we must end the communist dictatorship and implement
constitutional democracy as soon as possible.

Li Jincheng: “After Xi Jinping took office,
fascism and Hitler have reappeared in China.
The so-called Chinese characteristics are a fascist tyranny
in conjunction with party power.
Xi Jinping mentioned, hitting tigers and swatting flies.
People do not know the meaning of that phrase.
Actually, tigers refer to pro-democracy activists and
people wanting to come home from overseas.
Flies refer to the petitioners, regarding human rights.”

Li also pointed out that, during the “two sessions",
the new leadership dispatched a large number of police from all
different areas for stability maintenance.
Many rights dissidents were monitored more harshly than usual.
Numerous people were caught, detained, or even went missing.
Meanwhile, this year´s estimated stability maintenance costs
are expected to be 769 billion, which is more than military spending.
