王立军在5号被提起公诉后,中共喉舌《环球时报》发表署名单仁平的评论文章,标题为《离奇的案发情节,确定的司法正义》。

文章开篇直接炮轰王立军,说,“作为重庆市原副市长、公安局原局长,出事后被查出屁股如此不干净,真是令人悲哀。”文章还声称,“王立军是后来薄谷开来案件等‘拔出萝卜带出泥’的那个‘萝卜’”,是“中国前进路上的一个丑闻”而且“越来越不会有人去捂。”

一系列所谓的严词狂轰后,文章又把矛盾转向美国。文章说,美国驻华使领馆做不了犯案官员的庇护所,决定不了中国公民的命运和未来。文章告诫,中共官员出了事就往美国使领馆跑,是不光彩的。

作者单仁平最后还是暴露出了“司马昭之心”,文章写道:中国人现在对王立军案本身已经不太关心了,如何判决是王个人命运。中国已经迈过了王案的政治波澜,中国在向前走去。

网友则一针见血的说,一个以说假话著称的媒体,屁股也不太可能干净。假设现在还不到最脏,那也是机会还不到。机会一到,恐怕比薄王还脏呢。

港媒:王立军案审理可能不公开

王立军案件是否会公开审理是外界一直所关注的。香港《中通社》预测,王立军案可能不会公开审理。

中通社6号引述多位法学专家的观点表示,根据法律规定,叛逃罪和滥用职权罪可能与国家机密相关,因此王立军案可能不会公开审理或公布细节,但会在近期宣判。

不过也有专家表示,比照谷开来案子,宣判结果及构成罪名的一些细节会在第一时间对外公布。

从量刑来看,专家表示,叛逃罪最高可判5到10年有期徒刑。而涉嫌受贿罪,则有可能面临重刑,情节特别严重的,可处死刑。

梁光烈印度赏红包 被轰外交失态

前往印度访问的中共国防部长梁光烈出了个大丑。印度媒体报导,3号,梁光烈对接待他从孟买飞到新德里的两名印度空军飞行员,送出每人各5万卢比,大约900美元的红包,说要答谢他们。

梁光烈用现金红包犒赏印度飞行官的举动,在印度引发舆论批评。印度媒体讥讽他“外交失态”,更怀疑有“隐含讯息”。大陆网友则嘲讽说:“真是丢脸丢到国外去了!居然把行贿受贿的恶习发扬到国外去了,厉害!”

上海五千民众聚集信访办维权

上海,9月5号上午,人民大道200号聚集了5千多名民众举行抗议活动。这里是上海人大、市委、市人民政府信访办。

《维权网》报导,抗议活动从早上8点开始,警方在11点出动了几百人来驱赶民众。不过,抗议人群对警察毫不理会,继续维权示威,警察也不敢强为,只在一旁严密监控。一直到下午5点,抗议的民众全部离开。

Global Times Criticized Wang Lijun.

Wang Lijun was indicted on September 5.

Chinese Communist Party (CCP) mouthpiece, Global Times,
published an article titled “Bizarre Case, Determined Justice."

The beginning of the article directly criticized Wang Lijun:

“As a former vice mayor and former Director of the Public
Security Bureau of Chongqing, Wang Lijun was linked to many sordid things."
The article also claims,
“Wang Lijun is the key to Gu Kailai’s case.
It’s a scandal in China’s march forward,
and no one will cover it any more."

After a series of stern criticism,
the article turned on to the US.
The article commented that the US embassy and consulates
shouldn’t be shelters for criminal officials, nor decide the fate and future of the Chinese citizens.
The article warned CCP officials not to run to US embassies
or consulates when their crimes are exposed, ‘it’s disgraceful.’

And last, the author also exposed his sinister intentions.

The article expressed that Chinese people weren’t concerned
about the Wang Lijun case, nor, the trial or Wang’s fate.
China has gone through the political waves of Wang’s case,
and China has moved forward.

Netizens pointed out that the media is aware of its own lies.
The genuine facts are not being exposed.
Netizens comment that when the media is exposed
perhaps its laundry will be dirtier than that of Wang Lijun.

Hong Kong media: Wang Lijun’s Trial Can’t Be Open

The public trial of the Wang Lijun case has attracted
much attention from the outside world.
Hong Kong’s Newswire forecasted
that Wang Lijun’s case may not be entirely public.

On September 6, Newswire quoted the views of many legal
experts who said the defection and the authority abuse may be related to national secrets.
So Wang Lijun’s case may not be entirely public,
or announce all the details.
However, Wang’s sentenced will be announced
in the near future.

Some experts also think that as in Gu’s case, offense’details
will be announced for the first time after the sentencing.

Analysts believe that the defection itself will result
in a maximum sentence of 5-10 years in prison.
However, Wang is suspected of accepting bribes,
which most likely will lead to heavyer penalty.
Furthermore, considering how serious his overall situation is,
he might even face the death penalty.

China’s Defense Minister In A “Diplomatic Gaffe”

Chinese Defense Minister Liang Guanglie is caught up
in a scandal from his visit to India.
Indian media reports that on September 3, Liang Guanglie
gave red envelopes to two Indian pilots who flew him from Mumbai to Delhi.
The red envelopes contained 50,000 rupees each,
about USD900.

Liang Guanglie’s gift led to public criticism in India.

Indian media ridiculed his “diplomatic gaffe",
even suspected its “implied message."
Minland netizen commented on the issue: ‘What a shame, in
a foreign country! Carrying the bad habit of bribery abroad!’

Over 5,000 Protesters Gathered in Shanghai

In Shanghai, on the morning of September 5,
more than 5,000 people held a protest.
Here is the Shanghai People’s Congress, the Municipal Party
Committee and Municipal Government Petition Office.

“Human Rights Defenders reported
that the protest started from 8:00AM.
At 11:00AM, hundreds of police were mobilized
to drive away the people.
The protesters, however, took no notice of the police
and continued their rights demonstration.
The police closely monitored the protestors.
The protest concluded around 5:00PM.
