Media exposure signals Zhou Yongkang is next

Bo Xilai has had his first verdict.
Members of Shengli Oil Field were sacked.
Zhou Yongkang seems to have become the next target.

Chinese Caixin Media has recently added another explosive
report related to Zhou Yongkang.
This time, it’s about his son, Zhou Bin.
It is belived that Zhou Yongkang will be next.

According to a Caixin article on September 25 entitled,
“The Family on Laguna Beach,” people and chains involved in the PetroChina oil scandal were detailed.

According to the story, Zhou Bin and Wang Wan,
Zhou’s son and daughter-in-law, were described
as the main characters, being referred to as Zhou Bing
and Huang Wan in the article.

The story began with Bing’s in-laws, Huang Yusheng
and Zhan Minli.
They have lived in the US for more than 20 years.

Recently, their publicity increased because of the oil scandal.

Being owners of multiple companies registered in New Jersey
and California, their business has shifted long ago
with their son-in-law to China.

Zhan Minli became the main shareholder of “Beijing
Petroleum Technology” (BPT) in early April of 2004.
The ownership was transferred to her son-in-law
at the end of 2009.

February 2010, the BPT transformed into
a joint-stock company.
Zhou Bing, the chairman, owns 80% of the shares along
with Huang Yusheng, a member of the Board of Directors,
and Zhan Minli, a member of Board of Supervisors.

Last December, Huang Wan replaced Zhou Bin
to become the chairman.

The article refers BPT as one of Bing’s investments.
Bing travels frequently to Hong Kong for other businesses.

It is also said that Bing is living in Beijing now.

It seems to confirm the allegation that Zhou Bing
is being “controlled.”

This article was deleted from the Internet two days later.

Political Scientist Chen Ziming comments that
the Communist regime rejects public opinion
and has created much public resentment;

In order to balance its political suppression of scholars
and the Internet, Zhou Yongkang
has to become the next target.

Chen Ziming, political scientist:
“The leadership is in desperate need of catching
the ‘big tiger.’ They need something to balance their suppression
of the intellectuals.
They need something to ease public anger."

Commentator Lin Zixu believes Zhou Yongkang’s
being sacked is inevitable.
However, the regime will keep it near quiet to mitigate
the impact to the Central.

Lin Zixu, commentator:
“Zhou Yongkang is a bygone figure already.
They might have him to send a wreath to show
the so-called unity, but sack him anyway.
This could be the Central’s decision on Zhou Yongkang."

Caixin had reported earlier that BPT was owned by Wu Bing,
a Sichuan businessman.
He was described as Zhou Yongkang’s “housekeeper”.

His whereabouts has been unknown since he was taken away
for investigation on August 1.

Shanghai Wison Engineering Services was also described
as being involved in the oil scandal.
Executives of the company, including the chairman
Hua Bangxong, were assisting the investigation.
According to a New York Times Chinese report,
the investigation is related to Zhou Yongkang.

According to the 21st Century Business Herald,
the PetroChina subsidiary in Sichuan was suspected
of causing the loss of state assets during its reorganization.

Zhou Feng and Zhou Lingying were believed to be
the biggest beneficiaries during the transition.
Overseas Chinese media indicated that Zhou Lingying
is the younger sister of Zhou Yongkang.

Lin Zixu: “There are two interpretations
about Zhou Yongkang’s people in trouble.
One is to cut off Zhou’s wings before dealing with him,
and the other is that Zhou is gone,
and this is only to exterminate his root."

The New York Times analyzes the Communist regime’s
strategy is to surround Zhou and remove those relevant
to him one by one, all the way up to the hierarchy.
