即將開庭審理的谷開來謀殺英國商人海伍德案件，幾天來一直是海外媒體關注的焦點，谷開來究竟是無法無天的謀殺者，還是替罪羊？是出於政治野心，還是為了保護兒子利益？案件到底隱藏了多少中共不能告人的內幕？真相到底如何？都是輿論希望弄清的謎團。
據《大紀元》報導，薄熙來、谷開來及周永康利用政法委控制的中國公安系統的資源，進行罪惡的器官活摘和屍體買賣罪行。捲入此事的英國人海伍德「被殺人滅口」。而參與此事的得力幹將王立軍出逃美領館得以僥倖保命。
早前日本《產經新聞》也報導說，有情報證實，毒殺海伍德是薄熙來親自下發的命令。
另外，據美國《洛杉磯時報》報導，一名薄家的朋友表示，他不知道海伍德對薄瓜瓜有過任何威脅，他認為這個指控加給海伍德是為了減輕谷開來的罪行。這位朋友說，薄瓜瓜對案件保持沉默是因為他擔心被控走私錢財到國外。報導說，沒有權勢家庭背景的張曉軍，在毒殺海伍德案件當中可能將成為替罪羊。
港媒：海伍德心臟肌肉是指控證據
海伍德去年11月死亡後，屍體在未經驗屍的情況下，被匆匆火化。當時重慶警方宣佈的死因是，飲酒過量致酒精中毒身亡。
8月7號，香港《南華早報》引述一名直接參與起訴薄谷開來案的人員，所透露的消息說，檢察官手上擁有的薄谷開來犯案的證據，是前重慶市公安局局長王立軍在查案時，從死者海伍德的屍體上取下的一片心臟肌肉。
報導還說，薄谷開來在被扣留期間，對謀害人命以及經濟犯罪的指控，直認不諱。但是，薄谷開來被公訴的罪名，卻只有故意殺人罪，經濟犯罪部分並未提及。報導引述分析認為，從谷開來坦然接受指控來看，她與當局已達成協議，為她和薄家一家人做了最好的打算。
日媒：北戴河會議權鬥拉開幃幕
8月7號，多家日本媒體報導，中共高層已經在北戴河拉開了圍繞十八大政權交替的人事鬥爭帷幕。
日本《朝日新聞》的報導說，目前最大的焦點是：政治局常委結構，是否恢復胡錦濤政權以前的7人體制。據中組部消息來源說，胡錦濤政權擴大9人體制後，政法委書記擁有的權力太大，應該把這個職位下放到政治局委員，置於總書記的監管之下。
但是，許多黨內和外交官來源說，減少兩人的體制令黨內各派勢力鬥爭趨於激烈。除了已定的國家副主席習近平與副總理李克強兩人外，剩下5名，在胡錦濤的共青團派與江澤民派之間爭奪，而「抵抗7人體制的力量頑強，最終可能還是要維持9人體制。」

International Focus On Gu Kailai’s Case
International media are focusing on the upcoming trial of
Gu Kailai’s murder of British businessman Neil Heywood.
Is Gu Kailai a murderer? Or is she blamed for someone else?
What type of political factors are involved,
and is this all just to protect her son?
How many Chinese Communist Party (CCP) secrets
have been hidden? What is the truth?
The public wants to clear the puzzle.
The Epoch Times reported that Bo Xilai, Gu Kailai
and Zhou Yongkang used Public Security resources.
These resources were used by the Political and Legislative
Affairs Committee (PLAC) in live organ harvesting.
Heywood was involved in these crimes,
and was subsequently “murdered and silenced.”
However, Wang Lijun, who also participated
in these crimes, fled to the US consulate to secure his life.
Japanese Sankei Shimbun newspaper reported that sources
confirmed Bo Xilai’s order to kill Neil Heywood.
LA Times reported that a friend of Bo’s family claimed
he didn’t know Heywood threatened Bo Guagua.
He said the accusations against Heywood were created
to reduce Gu Kailai’s sentence.
He also said that Bo Guagua kept silent because he was
worried of being accused of smuggling money overseas.
The report said that Zhang Xiaojun, with no “special”
family background, could be blamed for murdering Heywood.
New Evidence in Heywood’s Murder
After Neil Heywood died last November,
his body was soon cremated without autopsy.
The death report was made by Chongqing police,
saying Heywood died as a result of overdrinking.
On August 7, Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post cited
a person who was directly involved in the prosecution of Bo Xilai and Gu Kailai.
The report said, prosecutors had evidence of Bo and Gu’s crimes.
Muscle from the heart of Haywood’s corpse was removed
by former Chongqing police chief Wang Lijun.
The report also said that during Bo and Gu’s detention,
Gu admitted to murder and economic crimes.
However, Gu’s charges are only for intentional homicide,
there was no mention of her economic crimes.
The report cited analysts, Gu’s acceptance of the allegations
indicated she had reached an agreement with the authorities, to gain the best plan for her family.
Japan Media: Beidaihe Meetings Unveiled
Many Japanese media reported on August 7, high-level CCP
leaders disclosed the political power exchange at Beidaihe.
The Asahi Shimbun reported that the focus is on
the political structure of the Politburo Standing Committee.
Will it return to the previous 7-member system?
According to the CCP Central Committee, after Hu’s regime
expanded to a 9-member System, the Politics and Law Committee secretary have too much power.
This position should be lowered and placed under Politburo
member, under the supervision of the general secretary.
Diplomats and sources from within the party say decreasing
two members is causing intense infighting between factions.
Besides the already appointed vice-chairman Xi Jinping
and vice-premiere Li Keqiang, five positions are open.
There is struggle between Hu Jintao’s Youth League Factions
and Jiang Zeming’s faction.
The resistance against 7-member system is strong,
at the end the 9-member system may still be kept.
