North Korea Charged With Crimes Against Humanity by
the UN

The UN investigating committee sentenced North Korea for
“crimes against humanity".
They will release investigation reports and some witness’
testimonies of their findings on February 17 in Geneva,
Switzerland, and submit their findings to the International
Criminal Court in the Hague.

In North Korea last year, the UN Human Rights investigating
committee was established in March and lead by retired Judge
Kirby from the Australian High Court.

After nearly a year of investigation, the Committee has found
strong evidence of “crimes against humanity" in North Korea
on human rights, including groups being starved and extensive
kidnapping in Korea and Japan.

The Committee held public hearings in Seoul, Korea, Japan,
Tokyo, London and Washington and collected over 80
testimonies of victims and other witnesses.

The investigation report pointed out that the North Korean
regime is also found guilty of:
Murder, enslavement, torture, imprisonment, rape, forced
abortions, sexual violence, forced relocation, forced
disappearance, persecution of political dissidents and religious,
ethnic and gender persecution and other crimes.

The U.S. Epoch Times News Website commented that this is
another case of “crimes against humanity" by a communist
totalitarian state.

This was investigated by the international community after
the Spainish court issued a warrant against Jiang Zemin for
genocide and torture.

Beijing Chaoyang District Court Ruled on the Case in December
and Made the Decision on February 14

On February 16, lawyer Ji Sizun told “Radio Free Asia" the
four innocent petitioners ound guilty are preparing to appeal.

Ji Sizun believes that the judgment is to retaliate at petitioners.

The authorities are more aggressive to sentence them for
crimes of “trouble” because of no reeducation through labor.

Last December 28, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) had
to change the way of suppression after reeducation through
labor system was abolished.

Henan was revealed recently to be set up as a “non-normal
petition admonition Centre" for illegally detained petitioners.

Guangzhou rights lawyer Tang Jingling said that the relevant
criminal judgments may gradually increase with the abolition
of reeducation through labor.
