CNA: Zhou Yongkang Is The Godfather of Chinese Mafia

Former Communist Party Politburo Standing Committee,
Zhou Yongkang, has generated considerable media attention
for his arrest and whereabouts.

His misdeeds during his position as secretary of Politics and
Law Committee have also been exposed by the media.

On Nov. 8, Taiwan’s Central News Agency reported that
sources revealed Zhou Yongkang’s close relationship with
the Chinese underworld.

He provided protection to the gangsters by accepting bribes.
He behaved like the king of the underworld.
Wherever he went, his network of the mobsters followed
and expanded.
When he was the Party Secretary of Sichuan, he absorbed
Liu Han, the local number one gang leader, becoming the
actual godfather of the gangs.

The report said that in 2006, a victim in Ningxia refused to
relocate according to the forced demolition.
A gang leader called Ma killed the victim by pouring
boiling oil onto his head which caused his immediate death.
Ma received the death penalty but Zhou Yongkang
personally ordered his release.
Apparently, Zhou Yongkang’s son, Zhou Bin, was bribed
by the family members with 200 million yuan.

The report also mentioned that when Zhou Yongkang was
the head of Liaohe Oilfield, the funding source of Liaoning
underworld mainly came from selling stolen oil.
Zhou Yongkang allowed the gang to steal oil to make money.

It is reported that Zhou Yongkang had been the largest
umbrella to harbor the Chinese underworld.
Members of the underworld organizations have also created
numerous incidents to undermine the authority of the new
leader, Xi Jinping.

For instance, the wave of anti-Japanese sovereignty
demonstrations erupted last September over the Diaoyu
(Senkaku) Islands.

Zhou Yongkang mobilized his underworld forces to turn
the demonstration into a movement hoping to deter
Xi Jinping’s succession.

Chinese Communist Party Military Drills in
Shandong Use Spy Satellites

Hong Kong’s media (Takungpao) reported the Chinese
Communist Party (CCP) mobilized land, sea, air for spying.
The Second Artillery Corps and spy satellites of Jinan Military
Region were conducting night drills in Shandong Peninsula
near Japan and South Korea.

Twenty thousand soldiers were mobilized in the exercise.
The military spy satellites were also used.
Multiple artillery firings took place at night.

On Nov. 23 the CCP announced an Air Defense Identification
Zone (AIDZ) in the East China Sea.
This military exercise was thought a warning to the U.S.,
Japan and South Korea.

However, the South Korean Defense Ministry also announced
on Dec. 8th its air defense identification zone expanded into the
new ADIZ declared by China.

It covers a disputed rock, Ieodo between China and South
Korea, in waters off its south coast which China calls Suyan.
South Korea’s decision was believed a direct response
to China’s ADIZ.

Petitioners Demonstrate on The Eve of Human Rights Day

December 10 is World Human Rights Day.

More than 100 petitioners gathered in Central Park of Tianjin
on Dec. 8 to rally for the forthcoming event.

According to 64tianwang.com, the petitioners held banners
stating “Human Rights Day, we, the petitioners want
human rights,” and shouting “Give me back my human rights.”

The Shanghai petitioners also took the streets on Dec. 7th,
distributing free to the public “the Universal Declaration of
Human Rights,” and asked the Chinese to get together to
commemorate the 65th anniversary of this manifesto .
