【新唐人2014年09月15日訊】香港中聯辦主任張曉明，最近被媒體曝光，上月末和與「泛民」議員會面時說，泛民仍然能「活著」，足以證明中共「文明」和「包容」。這句話引發媒體轟動。隨後，張曉明發聲明辯解。但港人認為，張曉明這番話代表了北京的態度，驚醒了還對中共抱有幻想的港人，而張曉明的辯解，只能說明北京手段太惡毒，不能見光。
9月12號，香港中聯辦主任張曉明發聲明說，香港某報引述一家外國通訊社的報導，披露他與「泛民」議員的談話內容，標題叫做《張曉明：泛民能活著，足證國家包容》，用意惡毒。張曉明同時指責香港媒體斷章取義，他說寧願相信，是外國通訊社的翻譯出了問題。
這篇題為《張曉明：泛民能活著，足證國家包容》的報導，是香港《蘋果日報》12號發表的，其中引述《法新社》11號的報導說，張曉明8月下旬與泛民會面期間，曾發表「你們能活著，顯示國家的文明和包容」言論。還說，一個要求結束一黨專政的組織，在內地早就不能存在。
儘管張曉明做出了辯解，但是對這句話，香港人有自己的解讀。
香港作家張成覺：「我也認為這就是北京的這種思維，他的意思是說跟北京背道而馳的這些人，不是我們包容的話，你們根本就不能存在，你們都死無葬身之地。推翻他原來（的說法）無非是因為那個話太赤裸裸了吧，我看這種做法叫『欲蓋彌彰』啊。」
張曉明在聲明中說，他與「泛民」議員事先約定：會談閉門進行，互相不引述對方的講話。他又說，所指的「還活著」，是指那些擔心香港回歸後，在香港根本待不下去的人。
紐約民主大學校長唐柏橋：「因為他這麼說的時侯實際上是不符合公開言論的，這是一種威脅性的話。這句話的言外之意就是說，我沒把你殺掉是吧，我沒把你關起來是吧，我沒把你酷刑是吧，我們做的很好了。這句話他自己認為他露了馬腳，他沒有想到，泛民主派有這個勇氣把它披露出來。因為如果不披露出來，它達到這個威脅的效果了，但是現在他說出來以後，對中共的形象有極大的傷害，很多人對香港有徹底的死心，所以他還要想辦法去否認。」
經歷過六四天安門大屠殺的紐約民主大學校長唐柏橋指出，中共料定港人不可能總是待在街頭，這句話赤裸裸地告訴世人，如果港人再不退讓，中共連「假選舉」都會取消。
《路透社》也在9月11號，引述兩名不願意透露姓名的消息人士的話說，當時，香港街坊工友服務處的梁耀忠（Leung Yiu-chung）議員提問，北京當局是否允許香港泛民派參選特首，張曉明立即回答：「事實上，你們能被允許活著，已經顯示出國家的包容。」
張曉明第二天發表辯解聲明後，《路透社》13號又出了另一篇報導，末尾聲明說，《路透》的報導沒錯，引用的是張曉明的原話，從兩個參加會議的獨立信息來源那裏獲得，翻譯也沒錯。《路透社》同時重申，已經向張曉明詢問，但張曉明一直沒有回應。
事實上，中共前年就開始在香港炫耀武力，今年7.1，中共還邀請部分港人去駐港部隊參觀。7月底又傳出，駐港部隊演練如何用坦克，和催淚彈，對付「佔中」活動。而8月底，中共人大常委會就香港政改定出框架時，有市民拍到多輛中共駐軍裝甲車，駛過天水圍及油麻地佐敦道的香港繁華地段。
張成覺：「對於北京來說，它認為香港這些要求自由民主普世價值的這些人就是異端，是一個心腹大患，它隨時都會下毒手。面對這種很殘酷的這麼一個現實，香港只能是做好準備，不要抱任何幻想，堅持自己的原則，堅持原先普世價值的這種立場，堅持一人一票的選舉。」
香港作家張成覺還提醒港人，要講究策率，不要莽撞，一方面不能害怕，不能後退，但另一方面在具體應對時要小心謹慎，加強團結。

Hong Kong Shocked by HK Liaison Office Director Who Said “Staying Alive Shows the CCP’s Inclusiveness’。
When he met with pro-democracy lawmakers in late August,
Zhang Xiaoming, director of the Chinese Communist Party
(CCP) Hong Kong Liaison Office, reportedly said, “the fact
that pro-democracy groups stay alive already shows
the CCP’s civility and inclusiveness.’
The remark sparked furor in the media.
Zhang later issued a statement to explain what he meant.
However, Hong Kong people still believe Zhang’s remark
reflects Beijing’s real attitude, and is a warning to anyone
who still holds illusive hope toward the CCP.
Zhang’s statement only shows how Beijing
is afraid to let the public know about its evilness.
On Sep. 12, the CCP’s HK Liaison Office chief Zhang Xiaoming
made a statement.
Zhang claimed a Hong Kong newspaper had quoted
a foreign news agency in reporting his conversation
with pro-democracy lawmakers.
The article title was, “Zhang Xiaoming: Pro-democracy Groups
Stay Alive, Evidence of the CCP’s inclusiveness.’
Zhang claimed that the report was of “malicious intent’
and “misrepresented’ what he said.
Zhang said he’d rather believe that it was a foreign source
that made mistakes in translating his words.
The report mentioned by Zhang was published
by Apple Daily on Sep. 12.
The article quoted AFP’s Aug. 11 report which reported
Zhang’s remark as, “the fact that you are still alive already
shows the party’s civility and inclusiveness’ during Zhang’s
meeting with pro-democracy members in late August.
Zhang also reportedly said, “Any organization that calls for
an end of one-party dictatorship would have been dismissed
in mainland China. ‘
Despite Zhang’s statement, Hong Kongers
have their own understanding of Zhang’s remark.
Zhang Chengjue, Hong Kong writer: ‘I think it reflects
what Beijing is really thinking.
Zhang meant to say that we stay alive because Beijing
allows it, otherwise we would have died ignominiously.
He later went back on what he said probably just because
it was too undisguised, but I think this only makes things
more clear to us.’
In his statement, Zhang said his meeting with pro-democracy
groups was closed and both sides promised
not to quote the other.
He also claimed the term “stay alive’ refers to those who
worried that they would not survive after Hong Kong’s return.
Tang Boqiao, president of Democracy Academy of China:
‘What Zhang said is intimidating, and therefore
is not a proper public statement.
The remark is equivalent to saying, ‘we are already very nice
to you as we have not killed you, put you into prison
or tortured you.’
He was careless to say that as he had thought pro-democracy
groups did not have the courage to expose his remark.
If not exposed, his remark would serve well
as intimidating words.
But now the remark has seriously destroyed
the CCP’s image.
Many people are completely disillusioned.
So he had to publicly deny that remark.’
Tang Boqiao experienced the Tiananmen Massacre in 1989.
Tang said the CCP knows that Hong Kong people
will not stop at street protests.
Zhang’s undisguised words tell the whole world, even
the “false election’ will be called off if Hong Kongers
make no concession.
Reuters quoted two anonymous sources on Sept. 11.
The sources said democratic lawmaker Leung Yiu-chung
asked in the meeting whether Beijing would allow
pro-democracy candidates to run
in the executive chief election;
Zhang immediately replied “indeed, the fact that
pro-democracy groups stay alive already shows
our civility and inclusiveness.’
After Zhang issued a statement to explain his words,
Reuters published another article on Sept. 13.
In conclusion, Reuters said “we stand by our story
and the original quote from Zhang Xiaoming, which was
obtained from two independent sources who attended
the meeting, as well as the accuracy
of the Reuters translation.’
Reuters also said it had faxed Zhang Xiaoming for comment
but Zhang had not responded.
The truth is the CCP began to show its military power
in Hong Kong beginning two years ago.
On July 1 2014, the CCP invited some Hong Kong residents
to visit its military.
In late July, reports said that the CCP’s army was practicing
suppressing Occupy Central with tanks and tear gas.
When National People Congress “voted’ for a resolution
regarding Hong Kong’s election in late August, the CCP’s
armored vehicles had traveled across Hong Kong’s
busy regions.
Zhang Chengjue:’Beijing regards Hong Kong democrats
as heretics and threats. I
t may crack down on them at any time.
Hong Kong must be prepared for such a harsh situation,
and stick to its principles without having any illusive hope
towards the CCP.
Hong Kong must stick to universal values
and ‘one man one vote’ election.’
Zhang Chengjue remarked that Hong Kong people should
use strategy and be very cautious.
On the one hand, they cannot fear or retreat; on the other
hand, they have to unite and watch out in taking any action.
