The 15,000 Handprint Case has Scared the “610 Office” which
Wants to Compound in Private

Qin Rongqian is a girl from Yichun city, Heilongjiang
Province, her father Qin Mingyue was tortured to death.
She is resisting immense pressure and has continued
to redress the grievance, and received 15,000 handprints .
These are the support from 15,000 local people.

The overseas media also initiated more and more
public discussion which made the persecutor agency Heilongjiang “610 office” extremely scared.
Its officials talked with Qin Yueming’s family several imes,
and wanted to use some “rich” conditions to discuss the issue in private.

In February 2011, Falun Gong practitioner Qin Yueming was
due to be released from Jiamusi Prison, but died suddenly.
His body was covered in scars when he died.

His wife Wang Qiuqing and younger daughter Qin Hailong
were seeking the truth of his death, but were illegally arrested and sentenced to Labor Camp for 1.5 years.
Now both of them are detained in Harbin’s
Qianjin Labor Camp.

The family’s elder daughter Qin Rongqian was tracked,
monitored and harassed by different units of the Chinese Communist Party .
However, she and her lawyers have not given up, and are
continuing to sue Jiamusi Prison.
They are asking for a thorough investigation
on her father’s death.
They have even sued the Supreme Court.

In June 2012, Qin Rongqian started to collect support on
the street.
In just over 15 days, she collected more than
15,000 fingerprints from local people.
In the open letter that Qin Rongqian wrote to CCP leaders
Hu Jintao, Wen Jiabao and Xi Jinping, she asked them to take care of her father’s case.

International media also focused on this case when they
read related reports on oversea media NTDTV and the Epoch Times.
It Included “Amnesty International", “WOIPFG" and
“Falun Gong Human Rights”.
Many international organizations are acting to save
her family who were detained in the labor camp.
Recently, her case was submitted to the U.N. Committee
Against Torture as a typical case of Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in China.

Zhang Erping, Falun Gong spokesman:”Actually, this case
is very shocking.
Because many people know that the CCP
has suppressed Falun Gong for 13 years.
Under this kind of brutal persecution, Chinese people
standing up to redress grievance showed how Chinese people are awakening.
Chinese people are very tired of hearing the facts of
the CCP’s suppression of Falun Gong.

The officials from Heilongjiang 610 office are very scared
over the exposure of their evil actions.
They have changed their attitude and asked the family
several times to hide the facts of the matter.

The Epoch Times quoted an insider that on October 26,
the local 610 office visited Qianjin Labor Camp with Meng, a leader of Justice Bureau of Heilongjiang province.
They told Wang Qiuqing and Qin Hailong that they will
arrange an apartment for them.
In addition, they will arrange never laid off jobs for
both of them and Qin Rongqian.

Zhang Yinfeng, the director of the Compensation office of
the Heilongjiang Supreme Court implied that
if Qin Yueming’s case can be compound in private,
the office will give the family 840,000 RMB in compensation.

However, Minghui Net reported on December 3 that
Qin Rongqian said, her mother and sister told her that they had asked for a release but were refused,
They also said that the camp didn’t talk about release any
more from that time.

Jiang Tianyong, plaintiffs’ lawyer:”The officials were in a rush
in November because the 18th congress was coming.
They doubted Qin Rongqian would do a petition, then said
they wanted to compound in private.
I told her at that time, the officials may not discuss with her
after the 18th congress.
Yesterday I called her and was told that the officials didn’t
take action and said that they don’t want to talk any more.
They will not release the family members.”

Zhang Erping said that from this case,we can see that
the CCP doesn’t have any real apology or compensation for injustice.
All their actions were done for political need.

Zhang Erping: “We warn the 610 offices, the Political and
Judiciary Committee and other parties of the CCP.
We hope they can pull back before it is too late, and that
they can stand on the side of justice and anti-persecution.
That way they can save a hope for their historic future and
they can have a chance of life.
Otherwise, they will be eliminated by the stage of history.

All the unjust things that they did to Falun Gong,
all these evils will be exposed one day.”

Jiang Tianyong, the plaintiffs’ lawyer also said that
many healthy people were tortured to death.
The officials didn’t solve the issues, but continually
committed crimes and violated the law.

Jiang Tianyong: “I think the authority should face
these problems, because hiding is useless.
Also to solve these issues, later is worse.
Many unstable facts in this society aren’t made by people.
There’s the law, the government should obey the law.”

Qin Yueming’s wife and daughters said very clearly that
they understood one thing after having been persecuted .
Over so many years the CCP’s lying can’t be believed.

They will stick to their conscience, and continue to
redress their grievance.
