【新唐人2009年5月14日讯】诺比先生对中国文化情有独钟，还研究过《道德经》。看了神韵演出之后，他说这是像来自天堂的艺术。
Chris Norby：very beautiful, heavenly, beautiful people, wonderful spirit, beautiful costumes and subtle moral messages which permeated the show.
非常美丽，像来自天堂的! 美丽的演员，积极向上的情绪， 美丽的服装，还有含蓄的高尚道德的信息弥漫整场演出。
旁白：喜爱中国文化的诺比先生还用三个中文词来描述了神韵：
Chris Norby: 美好！我（？）好！好好！
旁白：诺比先生尤其喜欢几位男高音的演唱，
Chris Norby: Oh, the tenors, I loved, yes!
噢，那些男高音，我太喜欢他们了！
旁白：他对晚会天幕的设计非常佩服，并给我们详细描述了他印象最深的一个天幕。
Chris Norby：and the background scenery blended with the performers and sometimes they interacted with them. As in the scene, the man was beaten to death, and then ascended, attain mortality.
在背景里，一位男子被打死，然后他升入天堂，获得了永生。
旁白：当谈起两年前，中领馆给他写的那封威胁信的时候，诺比先生说这样美好的演出，真的不知道他们怕什么。
Chris Norby：I don’t know what they are afraid of. But they must be afraid of something. Maybe reflects more on them than on the show.
我不知道他们害怕什么，但是他们一定是在害怕一个东西。也许他们害怕的东西在他们自己身上比在这场演出中反映的更明显。
