is a “complex" problem.
The primary message the US wants to pass on is that
they hope to avoid violence occurring.

US Washington political circles revealed that the Chinese
Communist Party (CCP) considers bringing up the Hong Kong
issue during the APEC meeting as “not to give face”
or disgrace.
Over the past week, China sent diplomats to lobby in
Washington political circles.
They hoped the US will not bring up the Hong Kong issue.

Obama Urges China to Uphold Human Rights
and Press Freedom

On Nov. 10, Obama mentioned China’s human rights and
press freedom issues in his speech 2014 APEC CEO Summit.

become an innovative economy that values the protection
of intellectual property rights, and rejects cybertheft of trade
secrets for commercial gain……
To move definitively toward a more market-determined
exchange rate, and,
Yes, to stand up for human rights and freedom of the press."

Obama also said, to let young people have the opportunity
to learn more about the world’s information;
Let the workers organize themselves to demand better
working conditions, and not be injured.

Obama said, what they suggested is not because it is
beneficial for them;
They suggested China do these things for China’s
development and stability of the Asia-Pacific region.

APEC Welcome Heads of State; Citizens Forbidden
to Use Phones

While Obama was urging China to uphold human rights
Inside the APEC venue, outside the venue, Beijing citizens’
disturbances because of this APEC meeting were not less,
but intensified.

According to the RFA report, Beijing citizens suffered from
“cancelled milk delivery" and no work.
On Nov.10 and 11, during the arrivals of the heads of state
to Beijing, citizens in Huairou District where the venue was
