中共會在甚麼時間﹖如何審理薄熙來案﹖一直受到外界關注。2月17號，有海外媒體爆料，薄熙來可能會被中共秘密審判。
據海外《博訊》網報導，薄熙來自從被雙規之後，一直不配合中紀委的調查，還曾經揚言，如果以貪污、受賄、包庇等刑事罪名對他進行處罰，他不但不會接受，還會當庭舉報他人更加嚴重的違反黨紀國法的犯罪事實。因此，薄熙來案的審判，對中共來說，是一件頗為棘手的事情。
報導引述來自北京高層的消息說，薄熙來如果不配合公開庭審，在庭審過程中一旦做出驚人舉止，比如當庭舉報比自己更高級別的中共領導人貪污受賄、徇私枉法，甚至包養女人，那將出現嚴重的政治後果，即便庭審過程不被現場直播，只是讓很少一部分人聽見，誰也無法承擔這樣的政治責任。
民間聯署要求訪民代表參加兩會
新年期間正在北京上訪的一些訪民，發起了徵集簽名活動，要求中共兩會代表中，應有訪民代表。
2月17號，十幾名來自上海、河北、河南、江蘇、遼寧等地的在京訪民，先後到北京梅地亞新聞中心、中央電視臺和中共中央黨校等地，拉起橫幅，要求在即將召開的中共全國人大和政協會議上，能有訪民的一席之地。
由上海失地農民程玉蘭、和河北滄州農民牟愛英等人發起的簽名活動，目前正在北京的訪民中間進行，並且已經獲得上百人的支持，其中包括維權活動人士和律師。
港政治交易密函 涉李小鵬
香港特首梁振英與前中共全國政協劉夢熊政治交易的一份黑幕密函，2月16號徹底曝光。信中涉及中共國務院前總理李鵬的兒子——現任山西省長李小鵬。
據香港《蘋果日報》報導，他們已經取得一封兩頁的信件，上款為梁振英特首，下款為劉夢熊，信件於今年1月9號發出。
信中披露，身為「東方明珠石油公司（Pearl Oriental Oil Limited)」副主席的劉夢熊與李小鵬關係匪淺，公司與山西省股東數年來的糾紛，是經過他與李小鵬協調後，才解決了。並且，還「憑個人關係」，「東方明珠石油」與「中海油」簽下了合作備忘錄、 與「中石化」簽下戰略合作協議，以及與哈薩克斯坦建立戰略合作關係。
信中還披露，梁振英曾向劉夢熊兩次強調「不會過橋抽板」，劉夢熊也曾要求梁振英向廉政專員白韞六「打招呼」，否則他將「引爆政治炸彈」。
劉夢熊1月被香港廉政公署拘捕，被拘捕的原因，有可能與劉夢熊收取「東方明珠石油」的股票作為酬勞有關。

Chinese Communist Party (CCP) May Give Bo Xilai A Secret Trial
There has been concern from the outside world on
how and when the CCP) will bring Bo Xilai’s case to trial.
Since Bo Xilai was detained and interrogated,
he hasn’t been cooperative with the Central Commission
for Discipline Inspection in charge of the investigation.
Bo once said that if he’s sentenced on any criminal offence
such as corruption, bribery or harboring, he wouldn’t accept it.
In fact he would even report evidences of others’ crimes
that are even worse than his.
This makes Bo’s case very tough for the CCP.
The report quoted information from Beijing high level that
if Bo doesn’t cooperate and does something shocking during
the trial such as reporting higher level CCP officials it will lead to serious political consequences.
Even if the trial is not broadcast live, having a few people in
court is still an unaffordable political responsibility.
Civilians Require Having Petitioners Attend the Two Meetings
During the Chinese New Year Holidays, Petitioners in Beijing
raised a petition requesting to have petitioner deputies in the
two Chinese Communist Party (CCP) meetings.
On February 17th more than a dozen petitioners from
Shanhai, Hebei, Henan, Jiangsu, and Liaoning provinces
came to Beijing Media Center, CCTV, and Party School
of the CCP in succession, holding banners.
They were in request of having petitioner deputies
on NPC and CPPCC.
The petition was raised by Shanghai farmer Cheng Yulan,
Hebei Cangzhou famer Mu Aiying et al.
The petition is going on among Beijing petitioners.
Over 100 people have been supportive.
Among them are rights activists and lawyers.
Hong Kong Political Deal Is Revealed through
Confidential Letters, Li Xiaopeng Is Involved
A confidential letter of a political deal between Hong Kong
Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying and former CPPCC member
Lew Mon-hung was revealed on February 16th.
The letter mentioned the former Chinese Communist Party
(CCP) Prime Minister Lipeng’s son, Li Xiaopeng, currently the
governor of Shanxi Province.
According to Apple Daily’s report, they have a two page letter
written by Lew Mon-hung to Leung Chun-ying on January 9th.
The letter reveals that Lew Mon-hung, Vice President of Pearl
Oriental Oil Limited, has very deep relations with Li Xiaopeng.
Together they solved the years of disputes between the
company and its Shanxi Province shareholder.
Based on their personal relationship, they also signed a
memorandum of cooperation between Pearl Oriental Oil
and CNOOC, strategic cooperation agreement with Sinopec,
and established a strategic partnership with Kazakhstan.
The letter also reveals that Leung Chun-ying has emphasized
to Lew that he would never “be ungrateful.”
Lew Mon-hung requested that Leung greet ICAC Commissioner
Simon Peh Yun Lu, or he would “detonate a political bomb.”
Lew Mon-hung was arrested by Hong Kong ICAC in January
perhaps because Lew received stocks from Oriental Pearl Oil.
