Wang’s U.S. Consulate Incident Might Become an Excuse to Take Bo Xilai Out.

Both the U.S. State Department and the Chinese regime’s

Foreign Ministry have verified that Wang Lijun, the Chongqing Vice Mayor, visited the U.S. Consulate in Chengdu.

Analysts say that Wang seeking protection from the

U.S. Consulate is a major event,

and it is very rare for the Chinese regime to admit to such.

This might prove that the Chinese regime has decided

to take Bo Xilai out before the 18th People’s Congress.

The former Chief of the Chongqing police, Wang Lijun was a

major player in Bo Xilai’s campaign of “Sing Red, Fight Black”.

But then Wang got into a fight with Bo Xilai, and Wang was

recently seen at the U.S. Consulate apparently seeking refuge.

Feb.8th, he was taken away from the U.S. Consulate and taken

by the Ministry of State Security officers.

The Chongqing municipal government subsequently claimed:

Wang Lijun, is now open for “leave treatment”.

Victoria Nuland, the U.S. State Department spokeswoman, verified

that Wang went to the U.S. Consulate in Chengdu.

However, Nuland made no comments on

whether Wang requested protection from the U.S and

She refused to disclose Wang’s conversation whilst at the consulate.

Cui Tiankai, the Chinese regime’s Vice Foreig Minister,

says that Wang Lijun’s going to the U.S. Consulate is an “independent” event.

The incident has been resolved and it has nothing to do with

Xi Jinping’s visit to the United States.

But for George Mason University Professor Zhang Tianliang,

Wang Lijun’s incident is a bomb dropped on Chinese politics.

Apparently, revealing that Wang went to the U.S. Consulate

was approved by the Chinese regime’s central command,

specially by Hu Jintao and it also reveals that Chongqing’s

so called “vacation-style treatment” was a lie.

On Feb. 9th, the Boxun Network published an open letter

from Wang Lijun stating that: “Bo Xils ‘Sing Red, Fight Black’ is a joke.

It’s a complete show he has put up to get into the Politburo

Standing Committee. This is Bo Xilai’s ‘Cultural Revolution’!

He’s the biggest mafia boss. I have risked my life for him,

but he treats me worse than a dog.”

Professor Zhang Tianliang says that Bo Xilai’s “Sing Red,

Fight Black” is

on the one hand making both He Guoqiang and the

former Secretary of Chongqing, Wang Yang, look bad.

And on the other hand due to Li Zhuang and other cases,

it has made Bo Xilai many enemies.

Prof. Zhang Tianliang: “At the time, Bo Xilai had transferred

Wang Lijun to Chongqing an

he was to change all officials in Chongqing with his own men.

Bo Xilai is blinded by greed; he has completely lost his reason.

He went insane, that’s why he never cares about the consequences

of his actions, eventually making enemies of his own men.”

In his open letter, Wang Lijun accuses Bo Xilai of corruption saying

that Bo and his family took out outrageous amounts of money.

Wang says he has a lot of evidence that he gave to different agencies.

Wang also requested friends in the U.S. to publish these evidences.

Apparently Bo Xilai also kidnapped Wang’s driver and

other people to threaten Wang.

Taiwan Media reported on the night of Wang Lijun’s incident,

that although the Chinese regime strictly controls the Internet,

on Feb. 8th, it basically stopped censoring.

This would further show that Beijing has made the decision

to stress Wang Lijun’s incident, and so bringing crisis to Chongqing.

Prof. Zhang Tianliang points out that the Chinese regime’s

confirmation that Wang Lijun went into the U.S. Consulate

shows how the Chinese Communist Party Central committee

is more determined to take Bo Xilai out.

This would help Hu Jintao’s plans at the 18th People’s Congress,

and would frighten those officials who are disobedient.

It would also bring a heavy blow to Bo Xilai’s and

Jiang Zemin’ supporters.

Hong Kong Trend Magazine Chief Editor Zhang Weiguo

says that Hu Jintao is stressing anti-corruption just before

the 18th People’s Congress, because he wants to use

the Wang Lijun’s case to take Bo Xilai out.

Zhang Weiguo: “Following the scenario of Chen Liangyu and

Chen Xitong, to hit the deputies and trusted followers is for getting benefit from it.

I think in the case of Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao,

they are watching whether Bo Xilai is willing to plead guilty.

This happened to Chen Liangyu and Chen Xitong,

then why can’t they do it to him (Bo Xilai)?”

Hong Kong’s Apple Daily Quoted Scholars says that,

Wang Lijun’s case might be Hu Jintao’s and Wen Jiabao’s plan to “borrow a knife to make the kill.”

Like in the Shanghai social-security-fund case, where they

took out the Shanghai party secretary Chen Liangyu, but were actually targeting Jiang Zemin.
