【新唐人2014年08月08日訊】8月7號是大陸維權律師高智晟「刑滿」出獄的日子，他能否真正獲得自由，備受海內外媒體關注。前往迎接高律師出獄的是他的大哥高智義，高智義在與高律師妻子耿和通話時，除了透露，他們正「往回返」，以及高律師不能與耿和通話外，別無他話，即刻被掛斷。北京維權人士胡佳表示，高智晟出獄後，仍沒有自由，前途未卜。
高智晟的妻子耿和表示，由於關押她先生的沙雅監獄，距離新疆首府烏魯木齊有800公里遠，交通極為不便，大哥高智義1號就啟程前往迎接。
耿和披露了她和高智義7號的通話內容。
大陸維權律師高智晟妻子耿和：「我9點一刻打通的時候，我是說：『看到沒有』，大哥的回話是：『我們往回返』，我說：『能讓他接電話嗎』，他說：『不行』，就斷了。之後我打，沒打通，到9點40的時候，我打通了一次，他說：『餵』，我也跟著說『餵』，然後就掛了，再打就沒通。」
耿和表示，目前無法確定高智晟是否已被接出獄。
耿和：「我不能去揣測，期待已久的這個消息，還是讓我感覺模陵兩可。從大哥的這種反應來看，是不太正常的反應，所以我想還是繼續給他打電話吧，讓這個事情更清楚、更明白一些。」
北京維權人士胡佳認為，高智晟已經出獄，但是身邊的國保不讓他和妻子通話。
北京維權人士胡佳：「接是肯定接到了，高智義大哥肯定不會有隱瞞的，身邊肯定有一群國保。耿和雖然是直系親屬，不是記者，但是耿和是在舊金山，國保控制不了她，那就意味著，你跟耿和說的所有的話，全世界都知道了。現在當局肯定是對他的言論自由權限制的很厲害，就把對他的限制非法延伸到了不讓他跟他的親屬通話，畢竟他們能控制的了高智義。」
胡佳指出，高智晟出獄後，只要人還在中國就沒有自由。
胡佳：「在高智晟律師沒有到達美國舊金山的時候，永遠不要說『自由』這兩個字。他現在是被限制的死死的，只不過從一個高牆電網和無情守衛的那種小監獄進入一個維穩體制下的社會化的大監獄而已，尤其對他更加嚴酷。所以說他未來的命運怎麼樣，真的是前途未卜。」
現年50歲的高智晟，曾被中共司法部評為中國十佳律師，他多年來處理過不少維權案件，特別是與法輪功有關的案件。2005年，高智晟三次公開上書國家領導人胡錦濤和溫家寶，要求停止對法輪功的鎮壓，而遭到以前中共中央政法委書記周永康為首的政法系統的打壓。2006年8月，高智晟被秘密拘捕，12月21號，當局以「煽動顛覆國家政權罪」判處他3年有期徒刑，緩刑5年。
胡佳：「在江澤民鎮壓法輪功之後，污名化加上殘酷鎮壓，國內談法輪功色變，風聲鶴唳的，在這種情況下，高智晟律師卻三度寫公開信上書，要求改正江澤民時期所犯下的反人類罪，其實我們都知道周永康是江澤民安插進胡錦濤、溫家寶體制中的一個控制政法的。高智晟律師那個時候已經是個成功的律師，但是他顯然不惜這些，他就公開的為法輪功上書，他也成為了中共06年的時候，中國國內的人士中，他是首要的打擊對像。」
據了解，高智晟在5年緩刑期間，有長達3年處於失蹤狀態。2009年2月，高智晟描述2007年被秘密綁架後遭酷刑的文章曝光，文章披露了警方對他施行殘酷毆打、電擊陰部、香煙燻眼睛、生殖器插牙籤等，殘暴程度震驚國際社會。2011年，高智晟被送進新疆沙雅監獄服刑。
據英國《每日電訊報》報導，高智晟是中國共產黨最害怕的律師，因為他仗義執言，敢為受迫害的群體說話。
報導說，高智晟受到人們尊敬，曾兩次獲諾貝爾和平獎提名。

Gao Zhisheng, Chinese activist lawyer,
completes his prison term on Aug. 7.
Media from home and abroad worry he will disappear again.
Gao Zhiyi, his older brother, had a short phone
conversation with Gao’s wife, Geng He.
He told her that they were “returning”,
then the line was cut.
BBC Chinese website confirmed Gao Zhisheng was now
at his father-in-law’s home in Urumqi.
Geng He says that Shaya prison is about
800 kilometers away from Urumqi, capital of Xinjiang.
There is no easy transport from the prison, so Gao’s brother,
Gao Zhiyi, left home on Aug.1 to bring him home.
Geng He said she called Gao Zhiyi on Aug. 7.
Geng He: “I called at 9.10 am, I asked ‘have you seen him?’
Zhiyi replied ‘we are on our way returning.’
I said ‘can you ask him take the call?’ Zhiyi said ‘I cannot’,
then the line was cut.
I called again, but couldn’t get through.
At 9.40 am, I called again.
Zhiyi said ‘hello’. I also said ‘hello’,
then the line was cut, I couldn’t get through since."
Geng He said that she couldn’t confirm if
Gao Zhisheng had come out of the prison or not.
Geng He: “I couldn’t guess, I expected the news for so long,
I am still not clear.
From Zhiyi’s response, it was unusual.
I will continue to call him to make things clearer."
Beijing activist Hu Jia says that Gao has been released, but
police around him didn’t allow him to talk to his wife.
Hu Jia: “Certainly Gao Zhiyi has met his brother.
He told the truth.
Around them would be a group of
national security personnel.
That means the world knew what Geng He’s
phone conversation was.
The regime certainly strictly limited
his freedom of expression,
The restriction includes not letting him talk to
his relatives on the phone.
These thugs can control Gao Zhisheng."
Gu Jia pointed out that after Gao came out, as long as
he is still in China, he won’t have freedom.
Hu jia: “As long as Gao Zhisheng hasn’t arrived
in San. Francisco, the word ‘freedom’ won’t be mentioned.
He is now controlled tightly, it seems he has just been
transferred from a small prison into a big prison—
‘maintaining the stability’ of society.
What is his future fate, it’s unclear."
Gao Zhisheng, age 50, was once feted as one of
China’s top 10 lawyers.
He dealt with many human rights cases,
particularly cases related to Falun Gong.
In 2005, Gao three times wrote an open letter to former
leaders Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao.
He urged an end to the suppression of Falun Gong.
Then he was suppressed by Political and Legislative Affairs
Committee (PLAC), controlled by Zhou Yongkang,
former head of security.
On Aug. 8, 2006, Gao was secretly arrested.
On Dec. 21, he was sentenced to 3 years in prison,
suspended for five years, accused of
“inciting subversion of state power”.
Hu Jia: “After Jiang Zemin launched the brutal suppression
and slandering of Falun Gong,
people in China were scared to talk about Falun Gong.
Gao Zhisheng has three times written an open letter,
asking then leaders to correct Jiang Zemin’s crimes of genocide.
Actually we know that Zhou Yongkang was promoted into the
administration of Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao by Jiang Zemin,
in order to control PLAC.
Gao was a successful lawyer at the time,
but he still spoke out for Falun Gong.
Thus he became one of the regime’s first targets in 2006."
Sources say that during Gao’s five year suspended sentence,
he had gone missing for three years.
In February 2009, Gao described how he encountered
brutal tortures after his secret arrest in 2007.
He exposed that the police beat him badly,
using electric baton shocks to his genitals,
smoked his eyes with cigarettes, inserted toothpicks
into his private parts and more.
The degree of brutality shocked the international community.
In 2011, Gao was sent to Shaya Prison in Xinjiang.
UK’s Telegraph reported that Gao Zhisheng is exactly what
the Communist party fears the most.
Because he used his talents to challenge the regime in court
for vulnerable groups.
The report says that Gao, a respected lawyer,
has been nominated twice for the Nobel Peace prize.
