律師舉牌抗議建三江當局非法剝奪辯護權
大陸律師劉金湘在微博上發消息說，建三江案四名當事人去制止官方違法犯罪行為，反被官方誣陷為破壞法律實施，為了達到卑鄙目的，法院非法剝奪當事人辯護律師的辯護權。20號，辯護人陳智勇和張維玉前往黑龍江省檢查院農墾分院控申處門口舉牌抗議，一名工作人員表示，負責人不在，打電話不接，律師們無奈離開。
去年3月20號，大陸維權律師唐吉田、江天勇、王成、張俊傑為被非法關押在建三江青龍山洗腦班的法輪功學員提供法律援助，遭到地方當局綁架、酷刑，事件引起社會極大關注。從25號起，大陸律師和民眾組成「失蹤公民營救團」，前仆後繼前往建三江絕食抗爭和聲援。隨後4位律師和部分法輪功學員被釋放，但是仍有4位法輪功學員被關押。去年12月17號，當局試圖非法開審，6名律師退庭抗議。隨後律師們再次遞交相關代理手續，但是1月8號當局在沒有通知家屬、律師的情況下再度開庭。律師們為了維護權利才舉牌抗議。
重慶城管驅趕小販引衝突
19號下午，重慶市沙坪壩區康居西城的城管在驅趕路邊攤販時，引發了攤販堵路抗議，之後雙方發生衝突，數十名城管手持棍棒、磚頭與攤販互毆，上千市民圍觀。事件持續到晚上，警察到現場之後開了5槍示警。
廣西上千村民遊行示威
廣西梧州市蒙山縣陳塘鎮羅應村和下漂村的官員，在村民不知情的情況下，私自將大量山林外租，租金去向不明。日前，村民因抗議山林承租商單方面強行伐木，遭當地派出所、黑社會打壓，4名村民被當地黑社會毆打致重傷。19號，上千名村民遊行示威，聚集在鎮政府，抗議政府的不作為。

Mainland lawyer Liu Jinxiang posted on his microblog
that four parties were framed by Jiansanjiang authorities
when they attempted to stop officials’ criminal acts.
To achieve the purpose, the court illegally deprived
the defense rights of parties’ lawyers.
On Jan. 20, defenders Chen Zhiyong and Zhang Weiyu
went to Heilongjiang procurator Agricultural Reclamation
Branch to protest with placards at the entrance.
A staff member said that the director was not there.
The lawyers left because nobody answered the phone either.
Last March 20, the mainland human rights lawyers
Tang Jitian, Jiang Tianyong, Wang Cheng, and Zhang Junjie
were illegally kidnapped and tortured by local authorities
when they attempted to provide legal support to Falun Gong
practitioners detained in Jiansanjiang Qinglongshan
brainwashing classes.
Beginning on March 25, mainland lawyers and residents
continuously went to Jiangsanjiang to protest with
hunger strikes and group support in an effort
to rescue missing citizens.
Later, four lawyers and some Falun Gong practitioners
were released, but there are still four detained
Falun Gong practitioners.
Last Dec. 17, the authorities attempted an illegal trial,
and the six lawyers left to protest.
The lawyers then submitted the related formalities again.
However, on Jan. 8, the authorities held a trial again
without notifying the families and lawyers.
The lawyers protested with placards to maintain their rights.
Conflict Triggered Due to Chongqing Urban Management
Driving Out Street Vendors
On the afternoon of the 19th, hawkers protested urban management
which drove them in Shapingba District, Chongqing city.
Several urban managements came to blows with hawkers
using sticks and bricks.
Thousands of residents were watching.
Police came to the scene in the evening
and fired five warning shots.
Thousands of Villagers Demonstrated in Guangxi
Some officials in Guangxi Luoying village and Xiapiao
village privately rented the mountain forest out.
The rent was unaccounted for.
Recently, the villagers were suppressed by the local police
and gangsters due to their protesting of forcible lumbering.
Four villagers were seriously injured by local gangs.
On Jan. 19, thousands of villagers demonstrated against
the government’s lack of action at village government office.
