Hillary Clinton Reveals Wang Lijun Inside Story

Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
spoke in London in her recent visit to the UK.
She disclosed details on how Wang Lijun
was refused asylum by the US Consulate.
It provides evidence to speculations
over last year about Wang fleeing.
While Wang was in the US Consulate, Bo Xilai
dispatched armed police to surround the building.
This almost caused a diplomatic dispute, and
will be potent evidence for Bo’s second trial.
However, the sensitive contents of
Clinton’s talk was censored in China.

In October, Hillary Clinton attended the
Chatham House award ceremony in London.
She shared some of her experiences during her tenure.

She talked about handling Wang Lijun
and Chen Guangcheng’s asylum.

Clinton says Wang knew Bo Xilai’s wife
killed British businessman Neil Heywood.
He showed up asking for US protection.

However, Clinton says Wang had a record of
corruption, of thuggish behavior, and brutality.
He was an enforcer for Bo Xilai.

He did not fit any of the categories
for the US to be granted asylum.
The consulate was quickly encircled by
other police who were subordinate to Bo Xilai.
It was becoming a very dangerous situation,
so the US denied Wang Lijun’s asylum.

Lin Zixu, current affairs commentator: “At
that moment, the US said Wang has a bad record.
The US government knows the CCP officialdom very well.

Clinton used the word ‘brutality’ to describe Wang,
and people cannot help but think about his involvement
in the live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners.

Bo Xilai and Wang Lijun committed
heinous crimes by harvesting live organs.
I believe the US government has been
fully aware of the relevant information.”

Clinton disclosing details about Bo and Wang was
reported by caixin.com reporter Ni Weifeng in London.
It was widely reproduced by media in
Mainland China, but deleted quickly.

Xia Ming, Professor of Political Science at New York
University: “For the CCP, if the topic was discussed
too much, it becomes a deadly irony to its system.

For Xi Jinping, he has many problem issues to deal with.

Bo Xilai’s corruption has exposed endemic corruption
of CCP officials, as well as the system as a whole.
It revealed inhumanity of Party culture,
and the collapse of family morality.”

Xia Ming says Bo’s appeal against his sentence is to
gather more public opinion to expose more leftists.
Xi Jinping doesn’t want to give them a chance.

Xia Ming: “The US Consulate
revealed a lot of internal information.
This includes information about organ harvesting,
which likely connects with the Wang Liujun case.
In another words, Wang has exposed important information.

Under such circumstances, Clinton obviously reminds the
CCP that the US obtained much information from Wang.”

The US House of Representative Foreign Affairs Committee,
requested Clinton to publicize the diplomatic talks between
Washington and Beijing after the incident, but to no avail.

Li Shanjian, independent commentator:
“They don’t want to expose any crime.
She has abandoned an important moral principle.

Being an important figure of a government,
when they know such serious crime is taking
place, their first act should be to try to stop it.

It is not to avoid embarrassing criminals.”

According to Clinton, after the US denied Wang’s
asylum, Wang wanted to get the truth to Beijing.
Then the US contacted Beijing to take Wang away.

She said the US didn’t want to embarrass anybody
involved in it, and so they kept it in low profile.

Clinton says that China did not fully understand
the US “jazz-like” diplomacy and democracy.
