Chinese Regime Blacklists Hong Kong Pro-democracy
Triad Members.

It has been more than 60 days since the Occupy Central
movement began.

Backed by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) State Security
agencies, Hong Kong triads have been attacking protesters.

Recent Hong Kong media reports revealed that, the CCP
forced triad leaders to join its Anti-occupy group.

It is said a blacklist is going around
among triad bosses in Hong Kong.

The listed individuals, who voiced support for student
protesters, are being hunted.

Some of them have been interrogated or even detained by
the CCP when they returned to mainland China.

On Nov.27, Apply Daily reported CCP state security officers
entered Hong Kong shortly before Occupy Central began.

The report revealed those security officers tried to involve
Hong Kong triads in opposing the demonstration.

In early October, triad members were seen to attack student
and civilian protesters in the conflicts at Mongkok.

The report also said the CCP recently pushed harder over
neutral or pro-democracy triad members.

It was forcing them to join the Anti-occupy group.

Rumors said a blacklist allegedly offered by CCP state
security agencies, was circulating among Hong Kong triads.

The list is said to consist of 500 names including a number
of triad bosses.

It even records their opinions toward the movement.

Apply Daily said it had obtained 117 names which appeared
on the blacklist.

All listed individuals are either 426 “red poles" or senior
“mountain masters".

The report said all pro-democracy triad bosses on the list
are being hunted since last week.

Some of them were interrogated by police or even held at
Shenzhen when they returned to mainland China.

Some triad members turned to support protesters after
receiving briberies from the CCP.

Those people thus become the main target of CCP
secret police.

Jim Chong Shing, a triad magnate on the blacklist, told
Apple Daily that one of his brothers is currently detained
at Lowu, Shenzhen for supporting the Occupy Central.

Tang Baiqiao, China Democracy University President, said
the report showed how the CCP used its whole state
apparatus to suppress the Occupy Central movement
with extreme nervousness.

Tang Baiqiao, “There are 500 names on the list. Mafias
are called “triads” in Hong Kong.

Mafia member are called triad members.

There are so many similar groups under the CCP’s control
that we see such a detailed list of their attitudes.

They either support or oppose, the Occupy Central.

This indicates the CCP is now sparing no efforts in
suppressing the movement. They are very nervous."

On Nov.15, secretary-general of the Hong Kong Federations
of Students (HKFS) Alex Chow and others planned an
appeal visit to Beijing.

Their visit was denied as the CCP revoked their
Home Return Permits.

Another 6 HKFS members were also denied entry
into mainland China.

HKFS thus suspected the CCP had a blacklist
of student protesters.

On Nov.18, Apply Daily said it obtained a target list of
the CCP’s state security agencies.

The name lists hundreds of protesters’ personal information.

Details such as Hong Kong Identity Card, Home Return
Permit number and photos.

Photos also indicate the data collection work had begun
before 2011.

The names on the list include HKFS leaders
Alex Chow Yong-kang and Lester Shum;

It also includes Scholarism founder Joshua Wong;

Two 10 Occupy Central die-hard activists, Shiu Ka Chun
and Edward Chin; and,

Civil Human Rights Front convenor Johnson Yeung and others.

Johnson Yeung: “We have prepared for this, and don’t care
whatsoever for suppression or criticism.

But many ordinary students and friends may not be ready.

Such a long list is to deter them from taking part
in the democracy movement."

Washington Post reported on Nov.24 that, a 23-year-old
female design student, was searched and interrogated for
over an hour by border guards, for trying to enter
mainland China to buy cheaper design materials.

Eric Tang, a 21-year-old Hong Kong student experienced
the same on his trip to Shenzhen.

The report said, many believe the CCP “has assembled a
blacklist in recent months.
It may contain hundreds, perhaps thousands, of names".

A Ming Pao report said 20 Hong Kong college students
attempted to enter mainland China on Nov.24.

The move serves as the first “pressure test" on
the rumored blacklist.

Finally, only 3 successfully got through the customs.

Tang Baiqiao, “I think there was no such list in the past.

Hong Kong has activities like Victoria Park Memorials and
July 1 March every year.

But we never heard any civilian was denied entry into
mainland China for attending any of those activities.

The reason is, many Hong Kong people routinely visit
mainland China for work or to see their family."

Tang Baiqiao commented that the CCP is attempting to
create chilling effects in all possible ways they use in
“stability maintenance", to crack down on
the democratic movement.

Meanwhile they don’t want to see to much resistance
or criticism from the global society.

But in general, the CCP actions are a serious violation of law,
humanity and fundamental human rights with little disguise.
