Are natural disasters warnings for China’s regime?

When people in China have barely gotten over the painful

Wenchuan earthquake, another major earthquake, the Ya’an earthquake, hit.

International media said that China is undergoing

environmental turmoil, which may threaten the Chinese regime’s rule.

Commenters pointed out that the Chinese Communist

Party’s (CCP) complete destruction of human and natural environments

has caused itself to come to the eve of collapse.

On April 25, three earthquakes occurred within one hour

in Yibin City, Sichuan.

Stakeholders said that these three earthquakes

were not related to the Ya’an earthquake.

By 11:00am on April 25th, dozens of people were injured

and more than 4,000 houses were damaged.

On April 23rd, a commentary from the Canadian

Broadcasting Corporation said that China is experiencing environmental turmoil.

Earthquakes, air pollution, and cancer villages

may pose a threat to the CCP’s rule.

It was reported that in 2008, a more devastating Wenchuan

earthquake resulted in approximately 70,000 deaths.

Thousands of children were killed due to collapsed

shoddy school buildings.

Relief funds were found to have fallen

into the pockets of corrupt officials.

However, some people were punished for standing up

and calling for the prosecution of officials involved.

One of them was environmental writer Tan Zuoren.

Tan was sentenced to 5 years and is being held

in Ya’an for “inciting subversion of state power."

Commenters also mentioned that earthquakes, floods,

droughts, and other natural disasters have a special place in China’s history.

The Chinese believe that ancient sovereignty of dynasties

came from the “mandate of heaven.”

Chinese history expert Li Yuanhua points out that people

in China always believe that the fate of rulers depend on heavens;

when disasters occur, natural or man-made,

rulers must look within to inspect their rule.

Li Yuanhua: “Except the CCP.

It calls all disasters acts of God, natural or man-made.

It disregards people’s suffering.

During the process, it promotes itself with praising words,

such as, ‘great, glorious, and positive’."

Li Yuanhua points out that the CCP will not forecast

an earthquake, even if it knew in advance, for its own benefits.

Li Yuanhua: “Nothing is accidental. It has resulted from

its consistent policy of neglecting the environment,

neglecting the protection of the environment,

ignoring human rights, and ignoring the basic

assurance for a perfect social system.

Pocketing relief funds donated by the people

actually increases the intensity of a disaster."

At the end of March, a three-year water census showed

that since the 1990s, the number of rivers with an basin of over 38 square miles has reduced by 28,000.

At the end of February, the CCP admitted to the existence

of cancer villages; several hundred of them are near industrial plants.

One study also showed that in 2010, China’s air pollution

caused 1.2 million premature deaths.

After the CCP’s two sessions, 16,000 dead pigs

floated down the Shanghai Huangpu River.

A few days later, more than 1,000 dead ducks

were found in a Sichuan river.

Subsequently, the full-blown new H7N9 avian influenza

spread all over Mainland China.

Current affairs commentator Wang Beiji: “Even if the human

and natural environments had been completely destroyed, this destruction of nature is unprecedented.

No nation, country, political party, nor any ruler of the past,

including the rulers of the feudal era, would so carelessly and brutally assault the environment.”

Liu Yinchuan, central committee director of Chinese

Social Democratic Party in the US, points out that

the CCP has come to the eve of destruction and

is facing various outbreaks of crises.

Liu Yinchuan: “Such as water pollution, air pollution,

unsafe milk powder, a large number of dead pigs, dead chickens, and plague.

All these show local officials, especially the public, inspection,

and judicial branches, and their disregards for human life.

Their failures to enforce the law impartially, their violations

of law, and their oppression towards the powerless people have caused

endless public resentment."

Liu Yinchuan said that in the ancient times, dynasties

all had natural disasters along with the outbreak of the epidemic at the same time prior to their collapse.

When people cannot live, they rise to rebel.

Wang Beiji said that the CCP’s collapse

is an unavoidable trend.
