【新唐人2012年12月22日訊】網絡呼籲向高牆內寄聖誕賀卡

一年一度的聖誕節即將到來,網絡上很多人呼籲給被關押的中國維權和異見人士寄出賀卡,讓他們感受到支持和溫暖。

北京維權人士胡佳最近在推特表示,聖誕節和新年就要到了,寄張明信片問候一下遠在沙漠囹圄中的維權律師高智晟。他說,高智晟或許看不到,但獄警可以看到,這至少會讓他們對高智晟多一分尊重。

《自由亞洲電臺》報導,前不久,高智晟的家人收到了一封用兩個紅手印落款的信件,信中要家人不要去探望他。這封信讓許多人懷疑高律師是否安然無恙。

報導說,高智晟的妻子耿和表示,不相信這封信是高智晟的真實意願,她從來沒見過高智晟用紅手印落款。她說,高智晟的家人正在爭取探視。

耿和同時也呼籲有能力的人,親自去探望高智晟,比如在北京的駐外使館的官員。因為她們想要得到關於高智晟的真實消息。

胡佳希望網民也能夠在新年之際,給獄中的其他異見人士,包括譚作人、曹海波、陳克貴、渺小、陳西等人寄去賀卡,送去溫暖。

在中國,很多被關押的維權人士的好友,也在網絡上公布他們所在監獄的地址,希望在獄中的他們,能夠感受到外界的關心。

百人聯署籲放青海異見者

與此同時,網絡上呼籲釋放青海異見人士劉本琦的聲浪也持續擴大。12月21號,已有超過200百人在聯署聲明上簽名。

《自由亞洲電臺》報導,劉本琦的代理律師彭劍表示,劉本琦是因言獲罪,中共當局拒絕劉本琦與他見面,他無法知道劉本琦的最新情況。

劉本琦今年2月,在互聯網上發起「中國自由公民拒絕獨裁宣言」的實名簽名活動,呼籲中共當局落實憲法賦予公民的言論、出版、集會、結社、遊行、示威的權利,7月18號,劉本琦被格爾木市公安局刑事拘留,目前仍羈押在格爾木市看守所。

中國公司認罪 遭罰300萬美元

據「英國廣播公司(BBC)」報導,美國一家法院12月20號,判處美國PPG公司上海分公司前經理Xun Wang一年監禁,罪名是參與非法向巴基斯坦一座核反應堆出口違禁材料。

Xun Wang承認在沒有得到出口許可的情況下,協助從美國經由中國,向巴基斯坦運送了三批高性能環氧樹脂塗料。

美國司法部說,Xun Wang在2011年11月承認自己有罪,並表示願意配合美國政府的調查。因此,使得參與這項行動的中國核工業「華興建設有限公司」承認有罪,並遭到美國當局罰款300萬美元。

Online Call to Send Postcards to Jailed Activists

With Christmas here, people are posting on the web to get
people to send postcard to jailed activists to express support.

Hu Jia, a Beijing activist Tweeted that over Christmas and New
Year send a postcard to activist lawyer Gao Zhisheng in jail.
Hu said that Gao might not be able to receive it, but police in
the desert jail can read it and they should treat Gao with respect.

Radio Free Asia reported that, recently, Gao’s family member
received a letter with two red fingerprints as a signature.
In the letter, Gao asked them not to visit him which made
many people concerned to know if Gao is still safe.

The report said that Gao’s wife, Geng He didn’t believe
the letter was written by Gao.
She said she has never seen Gao signing letter using
red fingerprint.
Geng He said Gao’s family is trying to visit him.

Geng He also urged people, who have the ability,
to visit Gao, for example, embassy officials in Beijing.
Because she wants to get reliable news about Gao.

Hu Jia also hopes netizens can send postcards to
activists in jails for Christmas greetings.
It includes Tan Zuoren, Cao Haibo, Chen Kegui,
Miao Xiao, and Chen Xi.

In China, many friends of jailed activists posted addresses of
the prisons online, hoping their friends realise everyone’s concern.

Hundreds Of Signatures For Release of An Activist In Qinghai Province

With an Internet petition, people called for release of
Liu Benqi, an activist from Qinghai province.
On Dec.21st , over 200 signatures were collected online.

Radio Free Asia reported that Peng Jian, Liu’s lawyer said
Liu was sentenced for his freedom of speech.
The authorities refused the lawyer visiting access to Liu.
Peng Jian was unable to confirm Liu’s latest situation.

In Feb 2012, Liu launched a campaign of real name signatures
for “Chinese Citizens Refuse Independent Declaration.”
It urges the authorities to carry out citizens’ rights of speech,
publishing, gathering and protest etc.
On July 18th Liu was detained by police in Ge’ermu city.
He was still being held in jail.

China Nuclear Industry Pleads Guilty

The BBC reported that on Dec. 20th a court in America
sentenced Xun Wang, a former manager at a Shanghai-based PPG Industries Inc. to jail for one year.
She was accused of illegally exporting high-performance
coatings to a nuclear power plant in Pakistan.

Wang admitted helping send three shipments of the coatings
from the U.S. to Pakistan via China without the required license.

The U.S. Department of Justice said that Xun Wang pleaded
guilty in Nov. 2011 agreeing to cooperate with investigators.
The China Nuclear Industry Huaxing Construction co, Ltd.
also admitted guilt and received a $3 million penalty.
