【新唐人2011年11月2日訊】「中國記協理事會」在最近舉行換屆大會，跟以往不同的是，有許多網絡媒體的代表第一次加入理事會。媒體工作者擔心網絡媒體將受到有關單位進一步的監管。
簡稱「中國記協」的「中華全國新聞工作者協會」，10月30號舉行理事會換屆大會，會議討論和通過了新的協會章程，選舉《新華社》社長田聰明連任記協主席，並大幅度增加新媒體主管在理事會中的比例。
百姓雜誌前主編黃良天：“中國記協它實際上就是中宣部一個代表單位吧，說是民間的，實際上它是官方的一個組織，中宣部不好出面的由記協來協調。”
《美國之音》31號報導，在中國記協新一屆理事會名單上，光明網、中國經濟網、北方網、西部網等網絡媒體的管理人員首次成為中國記協的理事。
百姓雜誌前主編黃良天：“網絡媒體的一些領導人進入，那就是說，他們有加強對這個網絡媒體的掌控，現在我們很多傳統媒體不是說，廣播電視報紙它已經在中國讀者裡頭，它已經失去它應該有的公信力，所以很多人都是，消息來源大部分來自於網絡。”
清華大學新聞與傳播學院教授、新媒體研究學者金兼斌接受《美國之音》採訪時表示，網絡媒體已經成為社會大眾不可或缺的信息來源。
金兼斌說：“新媒體現在對我們的普通民眾、對媒體、對政府也好，它展現出來的對我們日常生活的關聯性，表達各種各樣的聲音，我們了解它的重要性與日俱增。所以，我們相關的一些組織對新媒體發展，包括社會媒體的發展，給予特別的關注。”
現在「中國記協」的組織範圍擴展到網絡媒體，有不少網友擔心，網絡自由的空間將會越來越窄。
媒體人、網路評論員魯先生：“可能是把社會輿論監督這一塊，搞成了一個官方的意圖在裡面，是不是？這是不利於社會民眾的聲音的反應。”
「中國產業報協會」副秘書長張國發也向媒體表示，網路媒體的影響力越來越大，「中國記協」將網路媒體的代表納入理事會和自己的管理範疇，顯示官方媒體對網路媒體的承認，但也可能會導致網路媒體進一步收緊。
近年來，中國不少公共事件、群體性事件或腐敗大案，都是經由普通民眾在網路上爆料，才引起各界關注、評論和挖掘，從而使真相大白，並促使當局處理解決。
百姓雜誌前主編黃良天：“作為一個媒體由執政黨來管，來掌控，這也是中國的特色之一，也是一個集權國家，一個獨裁政權的一個象徵之一，但是在這種掌控下的媒體，想要自己有所作為是很困難很困難。」
網友反應，「記協」既然是一個民間組織，那就應該支持網絡媒體報導真相，而不應該以監督網絡報導為由加以封鎖屏蔽。

China Journalists Association Tightens Grip On Internet
The China Journalists Association voted in new members
during its recent general assembly meeting.
Many online media had joined the association,
but now they’re worried that this latest move by the association
is a sign that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)
is ready to further tighten its grip on the Internet.
“China Journalists" refers to
“All-China Journalists Association.”
On Oct. 30, the organization held a general assembly
meeting to discuss and pass proposed articles of association,
and vote in Tian Congming, the president of
XinHua News Agency, as its next chairman.
Many news media companies joined the council.
Huang Liangtian, former chief editor of Baixing Magazine,
“In fact, the China Journalists Association is a subsidiary of
the Chinese Propaganda Deptartment. (CPD)
People think it is a civil organization,
but it’s actually a branch of the CCP regime.
It helps coordinate the media when the CPD isn’t able to.”
On Oct. 31, Voice of America reported that managers from
Guangming Net, China Econimic Net, Enorth Net,
and Cnwest Net have been recently added to
China Journalists’ council member list.
Huang Liangtian, former chief editor of Baixing Magazine:
“The fact that
some online media leaders joined the council means
the CCP wants to strengthen its control of online media.
Currently, traditional media such as radio, TV,
and newspapers has lost its credibility, in the eyes of the Chinese people.
So now, most Chinese get their news from the Internet.”
Jin Jianbin, a New Media Research scholar and professor of
the News and Broadcasting College at Tsinghua University,
told Voice of America that, online media has become
an indispensable source of information for the public.
Jin Jianbin: “For ordinary people, for media,
and for government,
New Media has demonstrated its connection with our daily
life, as people are constantly using it to express their ideas.
The importance of online media is increasing.
So, our related media organizations are focusing on
New Media Research’s development.”
Many Internet users are worried that China Journalists
has extended its reach to include online media.
They see it as another way for the CCP
to further control the Internet.
Mr. Lu, Internet commentator: “China Journalists
took something that was originally in the public domain
and under the peoples’ supervision,
and officially took control of it, Isn’t that righht?
It blocked the voice of the public.”
China Industry Newspaper Association’s deputy secretary,
Zhang Guofa, told the media that the impact of online media is getting bigger and bigger.
China Journalists added online media memebers
to its council to widen its scope,
which shows that the CCP recognizes the importance of
online media.
At the same time, it also recognizes the need to tighten
its grip on online media.
In recent years, many public events, mass protests, and
corruption cases were reported by ordinary people, using online media.
After these cases attracted a lot of attention and comments,
the CCP regime was forced to deal with these matters.
Huang Liangtian, former chief editor of Baixing Magazine,
“It’s a characteristic of China that media is controlled by
the ruling party, which is also a symbal of a totalitarian
and authoritarian regime.
Under this kind of control, it’s very, very difficult for a media
to do what they want to.”
Many Internet users say that since China Journalists is
a civil organization, it should support online media
in reporting the truth, rather than blocking real news .
