Facebook

CCP Deny Moral Degradation in China, Wen Jiabao Criticized by Media

Earlier, the mainland Chinese premier Wen Jiabao openly

expressed that moral degradation is very serious in China,

sparking discussion from all levels of society.

However, a recent article from CCP central committee paper wrote,

“Do Not Always Say Moral Decline.”

This is viewed as criticism of Wen Jiabao.

Last month, a two year old, Yueyue from

Foshan, Shangdong Province was crushed by a car.

18 bystanders walked by, but no one helped the little girl.

At last a garbage collector lady saved her, but she died 9 days

later in the hospital.

What happened to little Yueyue was shocking and heart breaking,

and drew discussion from entire Chinese society

regarding the moral degradation and ignorance of life in

mainland China.

On Oct 31st, the CCP’s official newspaper Guangming Daily

wrote an article titled, “Do Not Always Say Moral Decline.”

The article expressed that basing moral decline in China

on the actions of 18 is not right, acts of kindness and courage happen everyday.

The Guangming Daily did not mention that little Yueyue

had died.

Other mouthpiece medias, Renmin Daily and CCTV,

intentionally filtered little Yueyue’s story and did not report it at all.

This Guangming article drew comments

from all across society.

Hong Kong’s Apple Daily expressed that the death of little

Yueyue mocks CCP’s claim on “moral development”

and verifies Wen Jiabao’s words in April about lack of

honesty and moral decline.

The “little Yueyue” incident damaged the superficial

image that the CCP tried so hard to create, which explains why

CCP official media tried to make up for the loss by claiming

that “acts of kindness and courage can be seen everywhere.”

CCP official media always claims “redeveloping national

moral values,”

but if acts of kindness and courage can be seen everywhere,

then what is the need to redevelop moral values? Isn’t this contradictory?

The chief editor of Chinese Affair, Wu Fan,

told an NTD reporter that it’s not only the “little Yueyue” incident;

recently, many people tried to visit the blind human rights

activist Chen Guangcheng, but were arrested and beaten.

When these actions that disregard morality

and the law are reported, the CCP is frightened.

Wu Fan, “Morality is declining daily in China; this is fact,

not fiction.

The CCP wants to reverse public opinion which

is criticizing it (CCP), but I don’t think it can.

Why?

For instance, a few days ago, a police officer in Henan killed

six people while driving drunk;

people say this police officer should be executed.

Isn’t this morality?

Moral decline?”

Last month in Hangzhou, a drowning girl was saved in

Xihu lake, but this doesn’t prove that “acts of kindness and

courage are everywhere” because the person who jumped in

to save the drowning girl was not Chinese, but those who stood there taking pictures were.

Regarding the moral decline in mainland China,

Chinese Affair expert Zhao Yuanming believes that

this was caused by CCP’s systematic destruction of

Chinese traditional culture.

Zhao Yuanming, “We see that in it’s (CCP’s) various political

movements,

it (CCP) used these movements to gradually destroy

Chinese traditional culture and moral guidelines.”

The Apple Daily report pointed out that Wen Jiabao’s words

on moral decline were not agreed upon by other CCP leadership and media.

In April of this year, Wen Jiabao expressed, the

“poisonous milk,” “lean meat powder,” “recycled waste oil,”

“dyed steamed buns” and other hazardous food incidents show

lack of honesty and serious decline in morality.

Wen’s speech was refuted by the deputy director of CCP

central committee Wang Shiming.

During a press release in September, Wang Shiming claimed

that economic development shows good morals.

Zhao Yuanming, “Based on the fact Wen Jiabao admitted

serious moral decline in China,

base on this point, he is truthfully

reflecting on the facts, he sees this issue.

It’s unlikely that he alone will be able to improve much,

because this problem was caused by the evil CCP.”

Last year, Wen Jiabao’s urge for political reform was

implicitly criticized by People’s Daily.

Some pointed out that whenever things are not going well

for the CCP, the party central leadership will

always have some play good cop and some play bad cop,

to save the CCP from destruction.

So Wen Jiabao’s actions might just be part of the plot.
