【禁聞】港警強力清場 新型催淚水槍傷人

【新唐人2014年11月27日訊】香港「雨傘行動」持續兩個月,美國《華爾街日報》引述消息人士指出,北京當局正在考慮不同方案,以回應香港民眾對特首普選問題的不滿。不過,也有人認為,從這兩天的警方清場的行為來看,北京的態度似乎沒甚麼改變。香港警方在清場行動使用警棍、胡椒噴霧和新型催淚劑,超過以往,甚至發生有新聞工作者被多名警察壓倒在地。

11月26號早上,在香港旺角出現一大批戴著紅帽的人,聲稱協助原訴人清理障礙物。在場的民眾質疑這群人是否得到有關單位允許,為此雙方發生激烈口角。

學生領袖黃之鋒:「我們希望他們(法警)可以解釋。今天無緣無故,一群戴著紅帽,看來是藍帶支持者(親北京的示威者)來到這裡清理現場。他們憑什麼來清理現場?如何能證實他們是來清場的工作人員?」

隨後,大批防暴警察介入,與現場民眾發生多次推撞,一些抗議者被制伏帶走。包括一直站在前排的學聯副秘書長岑敖暉、學民思潮召集人黃之鋒及和中文大學學生會外務秘書司徒子朗等人被拘捕。

法院執達主任與原訴人律師等人員在旺角彌敦道口宣讀禁制令之後,警方開始清除路障。從畫面中可以看到,警方在拆除路障時,也驅趕了現場的採訪記者。

而在前一天,也就是11月25號,警方動員六千警力進駐旺角佔領區位於彌敦道、砵蘭街間的亞皆老街路段清場,與不願離去的留守民眾爆發衝突,警方動武壓制、逮捕抗爭者。

學聯常委梁麗幗:「我們提出到底控罪是甚麼的時候,這個關係到我們到底是違反禁制令,還是警方純粹是執行公安條例,警方絕對要解釋清楚給現場人士知道他們可能要負擔的刑責。」

香港立法會議員梁國雄:「今日警方到底在哪個時候接到申請禁制令的那班人要求你們來執法,我覺得警方需要交待,是不是。」

現場:「解釋、解釋。」

現場有市民舉標語抗議,及高舉「我要真普選」橫幅。

現場:「我要真普選、梁振英下臺!」

清場行動一直持續到晚間,期間一度使用警棍、胡椒噴霧和新型催淚水槍,驅散抗爭的民眾。

據了解,催淚水槍射程超過10公尺,水壓強勁,威力更勝於胡椒噴霧,一般眼罩無法抵擋,眼睛被噴中會感到灼熱刺痛。一名遭催淚水槍攻擊的示威者告訴媒體,「我不能張開眼睛了。我穿著長袖,但手臂仍然受傷。」

香港立法委員陳偉業也出現在抗爭人群之中。

香港立法委員陳偉業:「抗爭民眾十分平和,根本沒有使用任何暴力,只是站在線外與警察對峙。但是警察卻使用胡椒噴霧和新的催淚劑,今天很多人都受傷了。」

入夜以後,戰場由彌敦道轉往砵蘭街,警方與抗爭民眾再次爆發衝突,截止到26號早上6點,警方一共逮捕至少116名示威者,包括香港立法會議員「長毛」梁國雄。

而在這次清場過程中,香港now新聞臺一名工程人員在協助記者採訪時,遭到多名警察壓制在地,這一過程被now的鏡頭拍下。據now新聞臺報導,儘管記者一再表明他是記者正在直播新聞,但警察不理會,並執意將記者驅趕到路邊。

11月26號上午,香港記者協會發表聲明,強烈譴責警方的拘捕行為,「事件嚴重踐踏新聞自由,要求釋放該名新聞工作者,並徹查事件及追究責任」。

對此,now新聞臺也發聲明表示,對警方的行動感到極度憤怒及遺憾,認為拘捕採訪人員,嚴重侵犯新聞自由,並已安排律師協助涉事工程人員,「通過司法渠道取回公道」。

Police Clear Protests, Resulting In Many Injuries

Hong Kong’s Umbrella Movement has lasted for two months.

Sources told Wall Street Journal that Beijing is weighing
options in response to the demand for universal suffrage
of Chief Executive of Hong Kong.

However, people suspect Beijing’s attitude has not changed,
as the police have cleared the protest sites.

The use of batons, pepper spray and new tear gas
was even more fierce than before.

A reporter was also pressed down on the ground
by the police.

On the morning of Nov. 26, a heated altercation took place
in Mong Kok when people wearing red caps claiming
to assist police in clearing the Mong Kok sites showed up
and their true identity questioned.

Student leader, Joshua Wong: “We hope they (bailiffs)
can explain.

Today, for no reason, a crowd wearing red caps appearing
to be Blue Ribbon supporters (pro-Beijing protesters)
are here to clear the site.

What gives them the power to clear the site?

How can you prove that they are the workers
who have the duty to clear the site?"

Subsequently, riot police intervened.

Following scuffles, the police arrested some protesters.

Among them were Deputy Secretary-General of Hong Kong
Federation of Students, Lester Shum, Scholarism convener
Joshua Wong, and Secretary of Student Union
of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Szeto Tzelong.

Police began to remove roadblocks after the court bailiffs
and plaintiff lawyers read the injunction in Nathan Street.

Reporters were also removed at the scene.

A day earlier, 6,000 police were mobilized to clear
the occupied sites around Argyle road.

Clashes took place when remaining protesters
refused to leave.

Police used force and arrested those who resisted.

Federation of Students, Yvonne Leung: “When we questioned
the charge, it is a matter of if we have violated the injunction
or if it is the police executed the Public Order Ordinance.

The police absolutely have to explain the legal liability
to everyone at the scene."

Hong Kong Legislative Council Leung Kwok-hung: “I believe
the police need to explain when the request to clear
the sites was received from the people who demanded
the injunction."

At the scene: “Explain, explain."

Protesters with banners that read, “I want real
universal suffrage."

At the scene: “I want real universal suffrage,
Leung Chun-ying to step down!"

The clearing lasted into the night with police using batons,
pepper spray and new tear gas to disperse protesters.

The new tear gas has firing range of ten meters, the high
water pressure is more powerful than pepper spray.

Ordinary goggles can’t resist the pressure; the pressure
can easily sting the eyes and cause burning pain.

A protester attacked by the tear gun told reporter,
“I can’t open my eyes anymore.

I have long sleeves, but my arms are hurt."

Hong Kong legislator Albert Chan also showed up
in the protest.

Legislator Albert Chan:"The protesters are very peaceful,
they didn’t use any violence at all.

They just stand in line to face the police.
But once the police use pepper spray or use the new material
(CS spray), you know, lots of people are hurt today."

After nightfall, the battlefield transferred from Nathan Street
to Portland Street, where police clashed with protesters again.

Until 6 a.m. on Nov. 26, police arrested at least 116 protesters,
including the Hong Kong Legislative Council, Leung Kwok-hung.

In this clearance process, a NowTV technician was pressed
down on the ground by the police in the process of assisting
the report.

The entire process was filmed.

NowTV said that the journalist had repeatedly explained
that they were conducting live broadcast.
Police ignored the claim and insisted to drive the journalist
to the roadside.

On the morning of Nov. 26, the Hong Kong Journalists
Association issued a statement to strongly condemn
the arrest of a TV crew member by the police.

“The incident is a serious violation of press freedom.

Demand the release of the journalist and a thorough
investigation of the incident and hold those
who are accountable," said the statement.

Now TV also issued a statement to express the outrage
and regret of the arrest which is believed to have seriously
violated press freedom.

Lawyers are arranging to assist in seeking justice
for the arrested technician.
