Homeless Injustice During Mid-Autumn Festival.

Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional Chinese
family reunion day.
However, for the homeless petitioners living on the
Beijing streets, this day is even more miserable.

According to Mainland China’s Human Rights Campaign in
China website report, on September 8 -Mid-Autumn Festival
day- Beijing police drove petitioners who sleep on the streets
away and confiscated their bedding and living supplies.

The expelled petitioners had no option but to walk in various
parks in Beijing, or holding banners of protest.
Dozens of petitioners held a banner in worship of heaven,
and called for heaven’s help.

members cried out and vented their feelings loudly.
Beijing police sent plainclothes officers to monitor the scene.

They tried to stop the activity and banned reporters
from conducting interviews.

The report quoted family members’ words that from the
beginning, the Chinese authorities protected them.

The reason is mostly related to “gathering in public places “.

China’s Anti-monopoly Law Enforcement May Violate
WTO Agreement

On Sept. 8 the American Chamber of Commerce reported
that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) recently actively
performed “Anti-monopoly Law" enforcement, which may
violate the World Trade Organization agreement (WTO).

The report said China’s enforcement of the “Anti-monopoly
Law" which has been implemented for six years is subjective;
Law enforcement agencies are involved in China’s
industrial policy and enterprise.

The American Chamber of Commerce said the discriminatory
use of “Anti-monopoly Law", is contrary to the commitments
China made upon accession to the WTO.

If the implementation of anti-monopoly law in China is
inconsistent with WTO responsibilities, China may be
violating the law of WTO.
