中國盲人維權人士陳光誠,作為美國「紐約大學」的訪問學者,近期卻傳出﹕因中共背後施壓,迫使他離開「紐約大學」,而6月21號,又傳出他被「監視跟蹤」。

英國《路透社》報導,據陳光誠的導師—-「紐約大學」法學教授孔傑榮(Jerome Cohen),及另一個消息來源說,陳光誠去年抵達「紐約大學」後不久,獲得支持者贈送的蘋果手機和平板電腦等禮物,其中,裝有企圖監視陳光誠的軟件。

孔傑榮說,安裝間諜裝置的人,無疑的是希望操縱和控制陳的行蹤,並想知道陳光誠所得到的秘密建議等。

消息來源還告訴《路透社》,陳光誠所收到的另外至少3部電子裝置,也被發現裝有令人可疑的軟件。

《路透社》記者就此聯繫陳光誠,但無法得到他本人的置評。

廣東千人示威 當局搶地 暴力傷人

6月19號,廣東湛江市發生大型群體事件,大批武警和法院人員與護地村民爆發衝突,造成包括老人在內的幾十名村民被打傷,以及四名村民被捕,其中一名被捕者是年約11歲的兒童。

當天,上千村民集會示威,抗議政府搶地並打傷村民。村民手持農具、木棒,頭上戴的草帽上寫著「誓死保衛」,村民並拉開多條橫幅。

據了解,當地官員收受賄賂,於是法院把村裡的一塊土地判給龍村。村民不服判決,誓死護地,遭到政府出動數百警力鎮壓。

廣州千人圍堵派出所 抗議扣車

另外,廣州市海珠區警方,6月21號,以違例為由,扣押當地民眾用以代步的電動車,引起近千村民不滿,圍堵派出所及周遭街道抗議。有村民指出,派出所借整頓街道為由,大規模扣押車輛,主要目地是找藉口罰款斂財。

據《自由亞洲電臺》報導,當天在康樂村,短短半天,警察就扣壓近百輛電動車。村民不滿警方執法過嚴,於是包圍正在進行扣車的警員理論,其後警員見圍堵的村民越來越多,於是迅速離開現場。近千村民於是包圍派出所,由於村民眾多,市集內周遭的道路都被堵死。

Monitoring Software In Chen Guangcheng’s Cell Phone

Chen Guangcheng, blind Chinese activist is a

visiting scholar of New York University.

He said recently that he was forced to leave the University

due to pressure from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

On June 21, it was rumored that he was being

tracked and under surveillance.

British Reuters news agency reported that, according to Chen’s

mentor Jerome Cohen, a law professor at Chen’s university, that

Chen received a gift of an Apple cell phone and

tablet computer once he arrived in the US.

Monitoring software was found in Chen’s cell phone.

Jemore Cohen said that whoever installed it hoped to manipulate

and control Chen through his location and read his messages.

Sources also told Reuters, that as well as the Apple device

from family members of Bob Fu, director of “U.S. China Aid

Association, Chen received at least three other electronic

devices, which also contained dubious software.

A Reuters reporter contacted Chen Guangcheng,

but could not get him to comment.

Demonstrators Clash With Police In Guangdong

On June 19, a large mass incident occurred

in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province.

A large number of armed police and

court officers clashed with villagers.

Dozens of villagers were wounded, and four villagers

were arrested, including a 11 year old child.

The same day, thousands of villagers protested against the

local government seizing land and injuring villagers.

Villagers held hand tools, sticks, wearing a straw hat

with words “defend our land until death."

Villagers also held up multiple banners.

It is understood that local officials took bribes,

so the court awarded a piece of land to Loon Village.

Villagers refused to give in and the local government

dispatched hundreds of police to suppress them.

Villagers Protest Against Police Seizing Motor Vehicles

On June 21, nearly a thousand villagers, unhappy

with police taking their motor vehicles, surrounded a police station to protest.

The police station seized vehicles as an excuse to clear the

streets. Their main purpose was to extort money as penalties.

According to “Radio Free Asia", nearly a hundred electric motor

vehicles were impounded in half a day at Leisure Village.

A large number of villagers surround police

to reason with them. The police quickly left the site.

The villagers then surrounded the police station,

and all roads around that area were blocked.
