US Sets Final Anti-Dumping Duties on Chinese Solar Panels
美國對中國太陽能面板，設反傾銷關稅
To combat the dumping of Chinese solar panels, the US has set heavy duties on billions of dollars worth of solar panel imports from the Mainland.
為打擊中國傾銷太陽能面板，美國對大陸數十億元面板進口，苛徵重關稅。
China’s solar industry is heavily subsidized by the Chinese government, creating an oversupply of panels, and dumping at much lower rates.
中國太陽能產對受中國政府極大津貼，造成面板過度供應，並以低價傾銷。
The Commerce Department says Chinese companies were dumping solar cells and panels at prices 18% to 250% below market price.
（美）商業部說，中國公司以低於市價18% 到 250%，傾銷太陽能面板。

IMF Forecasts China Growth Decline
國際貨幣基金會預測中國成長下滑
The International Monetary Fund has downgraded its growth forecast for China this year, predicting a “soft landing” for the world’s 2nd largest economy.
國際貨幣基金會調降今年中國成長的預測，對此世界第二大經濟體預測會「軟著陸」。
Today’s lowered forecast comes as the economies of the Eurozone and United States continue to be hit hard by the global economic crisis.
今天的調降預測，係因歐元區和美國持續遭全球經濟危機侵襲。
The IMF is expecting China’s economy to grow at 7.8% this year. Back in July, that forecast was at 8%.

China may be the world’s largest auto market, but Japanese car makers are having a tough time there. The heated [tʌf] between the two countries over the Diaoyu/Senkaku Islands has dealt a heavy blow to sales.

EU Agrees Tough New Sanctions On Iran

Speaking at a news conference in Luxembourg, the German Foreign Minister says the sanctions will increase pressure on Iran over its disputed nuclear program.
