據《大紀元》新聞網報導,中共下屆領導人習近平打算在十八大上,採用「差額選舉」來選定中共政治局常委、委員和中央委員。

報導說,目前流傳的各種中共18大「入常名單」版本,基本上是各派為促成自己的人「入圍」而推出的「名單」,中共18大「常委名單」目前並沒有定論。不過習近平傾向於以這些名單為基礎,形成「候選人名單」,最後在十八大上由「差額選舉」定奪。形成表面上,最高領導人不全來自「欽點」,而給所謂的「政改」一個「從上至下」的說法。

據報導,胡錦濤、習近平已經秘密在中共高層進行了一場「民主摸底」,據說,這次「民主摸底」給出了俞正聲、張德江、張高麗、劉雲山、汪洋、劉延東、王岐山等十多位政治局常委「候選人」,然後由大約350名正省部級高級官員組成投票班子,選出習近平、李克強之外的另外5名政治局常委。而選舉的結果讓習近平、胡錦濤信心大增。

法廣:薄熙來人大資格 最快下週褫奪

中共喉舌媒體報導,中共人大常委會10月23號至26號召開會議,議程包括審議「個別代表的代表資格」。這次會議與前幾次會議相比,在時間上罕見的提前。

《法國國際廣播電臺》發文分析說,會議應該與薄熙來案有關,估計薄熙來的全國人大代表資格將在會議上被正式褫奪,同時,中共的這個行動,也預示著薄熙來案可能在11月8號召開的「十八大」前,進入司法程序。

湖南中院否認審判薄熙來

美國《紐約時報》10月15號報導,針對最近海外媒體盛傳的「薄熙來案將會在湖南的省會城市長沙審理」,一位湖南省長沙市中級人民法院的工作人員已經否認,這名工作人員說:「我們已經接到很多電話了,我們這裡沒有這個事兒!」

但香港《明鏡週刊》15號報導,薄熙來案將會在湖南的省會城市長沙審理。《香港商業電臺》也引述重慶政界的消息說,薄熙來可能15號接受刑事審訊,地點最有可能是湖南長沙。

豐田天津廠將停產一週

據日本《朝日新聞》報導,日本「豐田汽車」10月22號至26號,將關閉在中國大陸最大的裝配廠—-「天津工廠」的部分生產線。報導說,「豐田」做出這一決定的原因,是因為中日釣魚島的爭端,導致大陸的日本汽車需求量暴跌。

「豐田」天津廠擁有約13000名員工。去年組裝了約50萬輛汽車,佔「豐田汽車」中國全部生產能力的60%。

Xi Jinping Intends to Select Standing Committee Members by ‘The Difference among Factions’.

The Epoch Times News Network has reported on Xi Jinping, the next leader of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Xi intends to select members of the Politburo Standing Committee (PSC), the Central Committee, and the 18th Party Congress, by using “the difference among factions".

However, the report said that currently a variety of lists are circulating.

Lists are made of different factions, containing their own favorite people.

Basically, the members of the PSC have not been settled.

However, Xi Jinping will use those lists to form the basis for his list of candidates, and finally decide upon the election. Top leaders will not be all from the hand-picked group, and the some could come from the “political reform” group.

It was reported that Hu Jintao and Xi Jinping have secretly launched a democratic initiative. As a result, it has gathered Yu Dejiang, Zhang Gaoli,

Liu Yunshan, Wang Yang, Liu Yandong, Wang Qishan, and a dozen PSC candidates.

About 350 senior provincial and ministerial level officials would vote on five other PSC members, besides Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang. The results help Xi Jinping and Hu Jintao gain confidence.

Bo Xilai Would Be Deprived of His Status as The National People’s Congress Next Week

State-controlled Chinese Communist Party (CCP) media reported that the CCP Standing Committee will meet on October 23 to 26. The agenda includes eligibility of individual deputies.

This meeting will be held ahead of its time, compared with many previous meetings.

“Radio France Internationale" analysis stated that the meeting should be concerning Bo Xilai. Bo could be formally stripped of his status as deputy to the National People’s Congress. This action also indicates that Bo Xilai would enter the judicial process before the 18th Congress on November 8.

Hunan‘s Intermediate Court Denies Trial of Bo Xilai

The New York Times reported on Oct. 15 on international media rumors about the Bo Xilai case. Bo Xilai’s case is being heard in Changsha, the capital of Hunan.

Staff of the Intermediate People’s Court of Changsha City, Hunan Province commented “We have received a lot of phone calls, but we do not have this case here!"

Hong Kong‘s “Der Spiegel" reported on October 15 that the Bo Xilai case will be heard in the city of Changsha, the capital of Hunan. Hong Kong Commercial Radio also quoted a political message in Chongqing. It stated that Bo Xilai may accept a criminal trial on October 15, most likely in Changsha, Hunan.

Tianjin Toyota Plant Stops Production for One Week

According to a report by Japan’s Asahi Shimbun, Japan’s Toyota plant in Tianjin will close from 22 to 26 October. This is the countries largest assembly plant in China.

The report says, “Toyota made this decision due to the Sino-Japanese dispute over the Diaoyu Islands. This has lead to the demand for Japanese cars in mainland China to slump.

Toyota’s Tianjin factory has about 13,000 employees and assembled about 500,000 vehicles last year. This accounts for 60% of Toyota’s total production capacity in China.
