亞洲美食節開幕 新唐人總裁致辭

【新唐人2014年6月26日訊】由新唐人電視台和大紀元聯合舉辦的亞洲美食節暨中國菜廚技大賽,6月25日在紐約時代廣場鳴鑼開幕。 新唐人總裁唐忠在現場致開幕詞指出,五年前新唐人第一次在時代廣場辦全世界中國菜廚技大賽,將時代廣場打造成長安古城,希望發揚中華傳統美食。今天在時代廣場舉辦亞洲美食月,希望把辦中國菜廚技大賽的理念延伸至亞洲各國,在世界之都傳揚亞洲美食。

以下是唐忠總裁致詞全文(譯文):

五年前新唐人第一次在時代廣場辦全世界中國菜廚技大賽,用火的藝術與來自對食物的愛與用心,將時代廣場打造成一千多年前繁華多彩的唐代長安城。把中華美食從世界各地集結到這裡來展現,至今參加過這個賽事的中華料理廚師超過五百人,我們希望把真正的傳統中國菜找回來,就如唐代文化的精神,寬廣包容利己利人。因此美食也成為文化的一部份傳至各地。

今天我們辦亞洲美食月,希望把辦中國廚技大賽的理念延伸至亞洲各國。 讓亞洲各國的美食在這世界之都發光發亮。

為何會有美食, 不論在東西方都一樣,因為你在意對方的感受,因為你希望為一個人付出,因為希望他能感到幸福,人的文化因此而偉大。這個愛的動機不論時代如何變遷都不會過 時,只有更加雋永。

今天我們很高興也很榮幸請到這麼多廚師,美食家,藝術家,在這裡共襄盛會。

建立東西方橋梁,自由信息,獨立敢言,找回失落的美好傳統文化一直是我們媒體的使命。

Five years ago, NTD Television held our first International Chinese Culinary Competition at Times Square. Using the art of fire and a love for food, we transformed this space into the ancient Tang Dynasty capital of Chang-An from 1000 years ago.

We gathered the best of Chinese cuisine from around the world, and to date we have had over 500 contestants participate in this competition. As we rediscover authentic, traditional Chinese cooking and share it with the world, we also want to rediscover the cultural spirit of Tang Dynasty, which is an open and accepting spirit.

Today, we expand our event format to the Taste Asia Food Festival. We want not just Chinese cuisine, but the cuisine of Asia to shine here at the Crossroads of the World.

No matter which culture you come from, gourmet food is the result of one preparing food with his or her heart. The cook wants the person eating that food to feel the love, and this love will not change because of geography or time.

We are happy and honored to be joined by so many chefs and artists here, to build a bridge together. Our mission at NTD Television is to:

– Build a cultural bridge between the East and the West

– Promote traditional culture

– Broad independent, uncensored news
