我向前來欣賞神韻藝術團美妙的傳統中國舞蹈音樂表演的所有觀眾致以最熱烈的問候。我謹代表哈珀總理感謝所有華裔加拿大人對加拿大多元文化的寶貴貢獻。
神韻演出是世界水平的，是一次中國傳統表演藝術的盛會。神韻演出創造了一個多姿多采，激發令人振奮的想法和感受的馬賽克。她觸動了不同年齡和背景的人的心靈深處。對於所有加拿大人來說這是一個通過觀看表演領略中華文明的良機。
華裔加拿大人可以為他們對我們多元社會做出的持續不斷的巨大貢獻而感到自豪。正如加拿大總理哈珀所說：“華裔加拿大人在我國的歷史和文化遺產方面處於突出的位置。從加拿大太平洋鐵路的建設，到加拿大各主要城市充滿活力的華裔商業社區，華裔加拿大人對加拿大的富強做出了不可估量的貢獻。“

Greetings from the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism
I would like to extend my warmest greetings to all those attending the marvellous Shen Yun Performing Arts production of traditional Chinese dance and music. On behalf of Prime Minister Stephen Harper, I would like to thank all Canadians of Chinese heritage for their invaluable contribution to diverse and multicultural Canada.
Shen Yun Performing Arts presents a world-class performance and an exhilarating celebration of China』s traditional arts. The expression of art such as this creates a mosaic of colourful and exhilarating thoughts and ideas that can reach people of all ages and backgrounds. This is a great occasion for all Canadians to discover Chinese civilization through one of the most exhilarating examples of its culture and traditions.
Canadians of Chinese descent can be very proud of the tremendous contributions they continue to make to our diverse society. As Prime Minister Harper noted: “Chinese Canadians have a prominent place in our nation’s history and culture heritage.
From the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway, to the development of vibrant Chinese Canadian business communities in all our major cities, Canada has been immeasurably enriched by the contributions of Chinese Canadians”.
As Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, I thank the artists of this inspiring performance for delighting Canadians with their impressive talent. All Canadians join me in wishing Shen Yun Performing Arts the very best in their future endeavours.
