1. 遵義數百農民工堵路討薪 遭抓捕

2月16號，貴州省遵義市紅花崗區海爾大道，數百名農民工堵路討薪，導致交通癱瘓。中共當局出動大批警察到場，以武力驅逐民工，多人被打傷及抓捕。

2. 聖觀法師和黃靜怡「煽顛案」將開庭

武漢市中級法院2月16號通知劉正清律師，佛教徒聖觀法師、公民黃靜怡二人涉嫌「煽動顛覆國家政權」一案，將於3月5號上午9點開庭。

聖觀法師是去年5月17號被抓捕的，當時聖觀法師到武漢弘揚佛法。與他一起被抓的，除了黃靜怡外，還有多名信眾。

3. 範木根案 律師看守所會見無果

2月5號至6號，蘇州法院開庭審理範木根案後，律師們針對法院的一系列違法行為，向檢察院進行了控告。16號下午，王宇律師和範木根家屬，到蘇州檢察院回訪控告情況，沒有結果。下午他們又去看守所探望範木根，但被看守所拒絕。

Police Violently Assault Migrant Workers Seeking Justice.

On Feb. 16, hundreds of migrant workers in Zunyi City,

Guizhou Province, blocked the road demanding wage arrears.

The authorities dispatched a large number of police

to violently disperse the workers.

Many migrant workers were wounded and arrested.

Hearing of Monk Sheng Guan’s Case Will be in March.

On Feb. 16, Wuhan City Intermediate People’s Court notified

lawyer Liu Zhengqing that the case hearing will be held

at 9:00hrs on Mar. 5.

Monk Sheng Guan and his student Huang Jingyi were both

charged of “inciting subversion of state power."

Sheng Guan was arrested on May 17 2014 during his

teaching of Buddhism in Wuhan City.

He was arrested together with many other followers,

including Huang Jingyi.

Detention Center Rejects Lawyer’s Request

to Meet Fan Mugen.

Fan Mugen’s case hearing was conducted on Feb. 5 and 6.

The attorneys then filed complaints with the Procuratorate

about the series of illegal conduct of the court.

On the afternoon of Feb. 16, attorney Wang Yu and Fan’s

family visited Suzhou Procuratorate about the complaints.

They got no results.

They tried to visit Fan in the detention center

but were also rejected.
