服裝企業家非法被關 遭酷刑

美國《明慧網》21號報導,瀋陽法輪功學員、服裝企業家于溟,在瀋陽市第一看守所受到酷刑審訊。知情者透露,獄警曾銬住于溟的手腳長達三十多個小時,搧他耳光,用別針扎他的手指,拿裝著礦泉水的瓶子砸他的胸部等等。

于溟是在去年9月24號被非法綁架的。在此之前,他也曾因為堅持信仰被多次非法關押,受到三次非法勞教,多次被迫害至生命垂危。

廈門保障房三月漲幅70% 引抗議

10月20號,福建省廈門市約300市民拉著橫幅到市政府示威,抗議當地政府哄抬房價,致使廈門今年的保障房、經濟適用房的房價,在三個月內暴漲70%。抗議遭到大量警察鎮壓,多人被毆打,至少6人被抓捕。

京藝術家劉騏鳴助人「暖冬」被抓

大陸《維權網》20號說,北京藝術家劉騏鳴因為向外界提供自己的支付寶賬號,接受捐款,用來幫助宋莊有困難的藝術家家屬過冬,而被北京當局帶走。

廣州學者、記錄片導演艾曉明、宋莊藝術評論家栗憲庭,以及人權活動家王荔蕻三人發表公開信,表示這個「暖冬」活動是他們發起的,願意承擔責任,要求當局立即釋放劉騏鳴。

「建三江」受害者 致信公安部長

美國《參與》網站20號發表了一封由甘肅、河南等五個省市的公民聯署的公開信。他們在今年3月份,因為聲援「建三江事件」,而被當地公安局非法拘留15天。據了解,在被釋放之後建三江公安局並沒有按照程序,向他們提供「行政處罰決定書」,在多次控告無效後,這些公民用公開信,要求中共公安部長關注、解決相關問題。

Shenyang Entrepreneur Falun Gong Practitioner Under

Illegal Detention and Torture

On Oct.21, Minghui (minghui.org) updated information about

Yu Ming, an entrepreneur, Falun Gong practitioner

living in Shenyang.

According to Minghui, Yu’s hands and feet were cuffed

by prison guards for over 30 hours.

Those guards tortured him by beating him in the face,

pricking his fingers with pins, striking his chest with water

bottles and with other tortures.

Yu Ming was illegally kidnapped on Aug.29 2013.

Before that, he had been put into unlawful imprisonment

several times for his belief.

He was put into labor camp three times and has been

close to dying many times under persecution.

Xiaman Government Suppressed Protest Against House Price Surge

On Oct.20, about 300 residents of Xiamen City, Fujian Province

held a slogan protest in front of the municipal government.

They protested against the house price surge induced

by local government.

Within 3 months, the price of low-income housings had

increased by 70 percent.

A large group of police suppressed the peaceful protesters.

Six were injured and many others were assaulted.

Beijing Artist Detained for Collecting Donations to

Help Other Artists

On Oct.20, Chinese Human Rights Defender (weiquanwang.org)

reported that Beijing artist Liu Qiming was abducted away by

the local government.

Liu Qiming had announced his Alipay account to

collect donations.

He did that to offer financial help to family members of artists

in Songzhuang, a county famous as anart colony in Beijing.

Guangzhou scholar and documentary director Ai Xiaoming,

Songzhuang art critic Li Xianting and rights activist

Wang Lihong then released a public letter.

The three said that as promoters of the donation movement,

they would take the responsibility instead of Liu Qiming.

They demanded the immediate release of Liu in the letter.

Jiangsanjiang Victims Wrote Public Letter to

Minister for Public Security

On Oct.20, Canyu (canyu.org) released a public letter jointly

signed by civilians from Gansu, Henan and other 3 provinces.

Those civilians had been detained for 15 days because they

voiced support for lawyers visiting Jiansanjiang.

Jiangsanjiang public security bureau did not provide

“Written Decision of Administrative Penalty" for the detainees

which is mandated by law.

Those civilians accused the bureau several times

but received no response.

Therefore they released the public letter, expecting to

draw attention from the CCP’s Minister for public security

to handle the issue.
