Facebook

Injured In Hangzhou Bus Arson

Violent tragedies have frequently occured in China.

Recently, more than 30 people were injured

in a Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province bus arson.

Local police ruled out the possibility

the incident being a terrorist attack.

The suspect was believed to be among

the injured passengers.

Critics believe the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) tyranny

has caused a society filled with injustice, low morality,

violence, and acts of revenge.

At around 5 p.m. on July 5, Hangzhou bus 7 suddenly caught

on fire at the intersection between Dongpo Road

and Qingchun Road in downtown Hangzhou.

Around 8 p.m., Hangzhou Public Security Bureau

announced that 15 of the 32 injuries were critical.

80 passengers were on the bus.

Terrorism has been ruled out as the cause of the incident.

Witness Ms. Wu recounted that someone ran with child

in arms to signal for help.

The bus was seriously charred and all windows

were shattered.

Miss Wu: “We saw the fire, then fire extinguishers

put out the fire, and people inside the bus were injured.

Several cars have parked there."

Police initially determined this to be a case of arson.

Video footage captured by a bus camera identified

the suspect as one of the seriously burned passengers.

A man around 30 years old boarded the bus with a backpack

at Lingyin Station.

At roughly 5:03, he poured liquid into the car and lit

with a lighter, the bus immediately burst into flames.

The liquid was said to be banana water.

On the morning of July 6, Hangzhou Public Transport Group

conducted a surprise security check of 8,600 buses

and demanded the bus driver to carry a safety hammer.

Local resident Ms. Lee says the suspect committed the arson

due to emotional conflicts. Such an incident frightens people.

Miss Li: “It is definitely scary. We take buses everyday.

It is frightening to take the bus now."

Chinese Internet users complained that however big

the injustice, revenge on ordinary society

should be condemned.

Current affairs commentator Wang Beiji says CCP tyranny

has caused injustice, low morals, and violence throughout

the entire society.

The dangers of contradictions are imminent.

Wang Beiji: “The root still exists in the social contradictions,

the disparity, ethnic issues, social class issues, corruption,

and environmental degradation, leading to despair of certain

social groups.

They search for the cause and resort to acts of violence

against the government and the society.

Very unfortunately, innocent people become victims

of the acts."

Zhejiang lawyer Yuan Yulai indicates that the CCP

strengthened security to prevent terrorist attacks.

However, violent incidents still occur frequently.

The authorities should bear certain responsibility.

Lawyer Yuan Yu: “The grievances need to be aired,

but the authorities continue to strengthen the armed police,

step up security, and so forth.

This could be the wrong direction.

What is needed is a guide to venting grievance.

However, they are just being suppressed.

With no way out, the people are bound

to take extreme measures."

Bloodshed has taken place across the entire country,

terror has clouded all of China.

The police heightened its suppression, but only met

with more violence.

After the Tiananmen incident last October, the country was

faced with more violent incidents such as the Kunming attack,

Urumqi railway station bombings, Guangzhou Railway

Station bloodshed and so forth.

Last year, multiple bus arsons have taken place.

May 12, a bus in Yibin, Sichuan, was set ablaze, resulting

in one death and 77 injuries.

On February 27, a bus fire in Guiyang, Guizhou, killed six

and injured 35.

Both incidents were identified as arson by the police.

A bus in Xiamen was lit on fire on June 7, 2013.

48 people were killed and 30 wounded.

Police identified petitioner Chen Shuizong as the arsonist.

He acted to get revenge on the society.
