Fujian Poisoning Case Highlights Flaws in Chinese Justice.

On August 22, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Fujian
Provincial High Court made a final ruling on the Nian Bin
poisoning case.

Nian Bin was released as innocent after receiving
the death penalty sentence four times in eight years.

The verdict caused public concerns.

Nian Bin’s defense lawyers believe the multiple death
sentences related to interest protection between the CCP
public prosecutor, the court and the judiciary.

Mainland netizens accused the court of making
decisions like a playgame.

Amnesty International also issued a statement saying it’s rare
in China for the court to overturn a multiple death sentence.

It again shows the serious flaws in the CCP justice system.

On July 27, 2006, many people from two villagers’ families
were poisoned in Pingtan County, Fujian Province.

It resulted in two deaths.

The police determined the method was rat poison
and Nian Bin was under significant suspicion.
12 days later, the police announced they had solved the case
and Nian Bin was sentenced to death.
In court, Nian Bin retracted his statement and
claimed he was tortured.
He wanted to appeal and the defense lawyer also pointed
out the fraudulent prosecution.
Over the next eight years, the case was repeated many times
and Nian Bin was sentenced to death four times.

Mainland Reporters Banned From Attending Canadian
Prime Minister’s Arctic Pole Tour.

Recently, the international community has been rejecting the
Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda media.
The Canadian government said they don’t welcome CCP
reporters since the US Congress proposed the bill to restrict
CCP media staff receiving US visas; Reporters Without
Borders requested sanctions against CCTV.

A spokesman for the Canadian Prime Minister recently
revealed that they no longer welcome some news media
reporters visiting the North Pole with Prime Minister
Stephen Harper.
An official said, the unpopular Communist Party propaganda
media are Xinhua News Agency and the People Daily.

On August 20, Canada’s Winnipeg Sun reported that the
unprecedented decision by the prime minister’s office is to
prevent some reporters collecting intelligence for the CCP.

Confidential Document About Killing Tibetans Exposed.

On August 20, the Tibetan Centre for Human
Rights and democracy published a survey report.
The report cited Lhasa City Public Security Bureau’s
confidential documents which confirmed that during
the March 2008 Lhasa incident, the Chinese Communist
Party (CCP) used machine guns to shoot Tibetan protesters.

The report said, the Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and
democracy recently got a confidential document from Lhasa
City Public Security Bureau.

It included the victim list of March 2008 from Lhasa Xishan
funeral and the autopsy testimonials for the four victims from
the Lhasa City Public Security Bureau.

The victims list showed that of the 26 bodies stored in the
Lhasa Funeral home, 15 died because of the shooting.
The autopsy report said for the four Tibetans, one had 17 gun
shot wounds and the two female bodies had 15 wounds and
8 wounds respectively.

It proves the CCP used machines guns in the Lhasa incident.

The report analyzed, according to CCP data, there were at
least 101 Tibetans shot in the 2008 Lhasa protest.

On March 14, 2008 after Lhasa protest was cracked down on
by the CCP, authorities claimed that they didn’t carry or use
any lethal weapons during the Lhasa incident.
