---Bo Xilai's Trial Will Be Held In Shandong Province---
On July 10, there was more news regarding Bo Xilai,
former Chongqing Party Secretary.
According to "Radio France Internationale", the Bo Xilai case
will be at trial either July or August in Shangdong Province.
Due to the highly sensitive case, Jinan Intermediate People's
Court is undergoing various simulated procedures.
Security maintenance, trial strategy, observer arrangements,
media management, and control measures are all rehearsed.
The Bo case originally was guided by the Supreme People's
Procuratorate Anti-Corruption Bureau investigation.
Because of its trial level, Bo's case was handled by Beijing
Municipal Procuratorate Anti-Corruption Bureau, assisted by provincial cadres.
Those familiar with the case said that
Bo was mainly charged with bribery.
A wealthy businessman, Xu Ming, offered to pay for tuition
and expenses for Bo's son, Bo Guagua, to study in the UK.
The total amount is equivalent to six or seven million yuan.
Some lawyers told reporters, if Bo Xilai pleads guilty, Bo
Guagua does not have be responsible for taking the money.
Otherwise, Bo Guagua may face judicial prosecution.
This may be why Bo Xilai was willing to admit his guilt.
Insiders also revealed that Bo Guagua has left the
Harvard's Kennedy School, and is currently in California.
Bo Guagua will not appear in court as a witness.
Previously, overseas Chinese media repeatedly reported
on Bo's trial, however, it did not become a reality.
Whether this comes true or not remains to be seen.
