Mainland Officials ‘Abandon’ and ‘Ashamed’ of the CCP

Major corruption cases of key Chinese Communist Party’
(CCP) officials continuously happened in the last 13 years.
After the Shenyang’s ‘Mu Ma case’ early this century,
Chenzhou, Kaifeng and Fuyang also had major cases.
Afterwards, the officialdom was so affected that many
CCP cadres do not want to admit they are party members, which shows their lack of trust in the CCP.
Mainland media reported that the so called ‘anti-corruption’
measures resulted in a tide of ‘Ashamed’ and ‘Abandon’ the CCP among the CCP members.

China’s anti-corruption magazine ‘Independent Commission
Against Outlook’ recently had a report on the issue.
It was titled, ‘After anti-corruption officialdom rheology:
Many dare not admit being party members.’
It stated, the dismissal of top leaders in many places
affected a large number of local officials.
In some places, there are grass-roots party members
who dare not admit they are party members.

The report gave the 2009′ example of Hunan
Chenzhou’s former party secretary Li Dalun,
and former Discipline Inspection Commission’
secretary Zeng Jinchun.
After three years, a neighborhood committee in Chenzhou
investigated the political identity of the business households.
Some people were CCP members but didn’t want to admit it,
which shows their lack of trust in CCP and the government.

Netizens believe the report is actually very conservative,
and the real situation is much more serious.
Now the CCP has in fact become ‘China Shame!’
for all people, they say.
Many people would now join the party for the benefits,
but they keep it confidential!
It has become a consensus to prefer being a part of
an ‘Underground party’ among the CCP members now.
After 36 years of ruling, the CCP turned into
an underground party again, this is a big irony!

Sun Wenguang, former Shandong University professor:
‘Now the CCP looks very large with its 80 million members.
In fact, people with real hearts who are really ready to give
their lives to the communism are very few; most of them are just after positions.
Because the corruption is everywhere, top to bottom,
many people think like this, but they dare not show it.’

Mr. Yin from Shanghai said that now the internet
is full of condemnation for the CCP,
thus due to this pressure from the society,
the CCP members also feel embarrassed.

Mr. Yin, Shanghai citizen:
‘Before they always promoted communism;
that thing was bankrupted already,
they themselves even do not believe in it.
So now those CCP members are after promotions in
their positions, some are after easier way to find a job,
but all are for the benefits, there is no ideal.

That is the reason for so much corruption and bad things.
The people have exposed them to the world.’

An investigation and analysis of 45 colleges
and universities in Beijing confirms that.
It showed that 88.6% of the students think to join
the CCP, as a need for career advancement.
Only 33% said they believe in communism.

But most netizens believe this data is overstated,
as the number of people who really believe in communism should be under 1%.

Sun Wenguang: ‘Even among the college’ students,
many who want to join the party don’t know CCP’ nature,
they want to find a better job, and to have a good life.

But inside the CCP, many people have recognized
that the one-party leadership cannot last for long;
they say, it is easy to join the party, but hard to quit it,
it is easy to get on the pirate ship, but difficult to get off.’

In recent years, more and more Mainland people
no longer choose to be silent or avoid the issue;
they joined the ‘Quitting CCP tide,’
and had a clean break away from CCP.

Mr. Shen, Zhejiang unit leader: ‘I would not call it
quitting, as I never wanted to be in it.
Since I was a little boy,
I feel I just don’t want to join it (CCP.)
It is not that I first joined the party and then left,
it is not like this.’

Sun Wenguang: ‘This tide of quitting the CCP
will come out of the shadows sooner or later.
Now using a pseudonym to quit the CCP
is considered safety for the person and his family.
This undercurrent is in the surge,
and one day it will all become open to the public.’

Today, the tide of ‘Ashamed of CCP,’ ‘Abandon CCP,’
and ‘Quit CCP’ are spreading all over China, with the numbers consistently going up.
