Red Guards To Be Rehabilitated?

Recently, Red Guards in Chongqing and Hunan Province
signed a letter asking for their names to be cleared.
Experts and scholars have pointed out that these people
did not understand they were victims of the Chinese
Communist Party (CCP)’s aggressive philosophy
but also the perpetrators, so it was an ambiguous request.

Recently, 27 former members of the revolutionary committees in
Sichuan Province and Chongqing, signed a joint letter to Bo Xilai, Secretary of the CCP Chongqing district,
saying the old comrades of the Cultural Revolution had
actively followed the call of the CCP Central Committee and
Chairman Mao but had encountered many miscarriages in
Chongqing’s ‘checking movement’. They wanted fair treatment.

Mainland scholar Tieliu said this will affect China’s future and
Bo will be a little Mao if the Red Guards names are cleared.

Tieliu: “If you take the route of Mao Zedong and
rehabilitate these Red Guards, it is a second Cultural Revolution.
What is the next step for China? Is it really adopting capitalism,
or going for socialism as during Chairman Mao’s era.
If it takes the route of socialism, wealthy people will become
monsters, and officers be like capitalists."

Following the first joint letter, Hunan had similar public letters,
claiming mistakes were committed by following the CCP,
that these were caused by internal conflicts, and asking for
fair treatment.

Zhao Yuanming, a China research specialist said that
the Cultural Revolution dragged the entire Chinese nation to the brink of collapse.
The Red Guards had beaten people,
ransacked homes, killed people.
It was all due to the overwhelming nature of the
CCP’s political aggression enlarging their evil side.
Now these people still look to the CCP for help
not knowing they are victims of the CCP.

Zhao Yuanming: “They were used by the CCP during
the Cultural Revolution. This was not for the benefit of the country.
The Cultural Revolution was a struggle within the party for
personal power. all belong to the evil CCP in nature.
They are all evil. Bo could be more evil than Mao, more cruel.”

Zhao Yuanming said, during the Cultural Revolution,
Bo Xilai sometimes tortured others, and sometimes was tortured.
Bo then learned the CCP’s ‘mutual cheating’.
Bo is now still utilizing these tricks.

Zhao Yuanming: “People fought with each other. It is a way for the
CCP to consolidate its ruling.
It encouraged some people to fight with others,
generating hatred and hostility between them.
It seems their conflict could not be reconciled. The conflict was
exactly what the CCP wanted, so it could control people.”

Zhao pointed out that during the CCP’s regime, people
who tortured others or who were tortured are both victims fooled by the CCP.

Zhao: “These people should reflect on what they did before,
and come to recognize the CCP’s evil nature.
If possible, they should quit the CCP, removing the shackles of
the CCP both spiritually and politically. This way, they could
understand the nature of the CCP and remedy the evil
they had caused. “

Qiu Huizuo, one of the four major subordinates of former
Chinese Vice President Lin Biao, was tortured in the early stages of the Cultural Revolution as a capitalist ROADER.
In 1968, Qiu was reinstated and became an oppressor.
It has been stated in Deutsche Welle that
Qiu’s memoir proved that all in CCP had been victims
and victimizers.
