Gu Kailai’s Trial, A Prelude of Bo and Zhou’s Trial, Exposes A Small Bit of the Big Dark Secrets

Last week, Hefei Intermediate People’s Court held two
hearings in the British businessman Heywood’s murder case.
On August 9, the main suspect, Gu Kailai, former Chongqing
Party Secretary Bo Xilai’s wife was interrogated along with accomplice Zhang Xiaojun.
The following day, the former deputy director
of the Chongqing Public Security Bureau, Kuo Weikuo,
and three other senior police officers, went to trial on
charges of “favoritism" for covering up of the murder case.
Wang Lijun’s case is also reported to be headed
to trial this week.
It has been said that this series of trials is to clear obstacles
for the 18th National Congress and also serves as a prelude to Bo Xilai and Zhou Yongkang’s trial.

On August 10, Xinhua News Agency issued a rare and
lengthy report on the hearing, emphasizing Gu Kailai’s guilt.
However, an observer who participated in the hearing
at Hefei revealed that Gu Kailai made a sudden,
intriguing comment during the hearing. “This case,” she said,
“finally exposes a corner of the dark secrets.”
It is analyzed that the dark secrets refer to live organ harvesting,
corpse trafficking, and the coup planning, which were not mentioned in court.

Legal and China affair expert, Zhao Yuanming: “To Gu Kailai,
evidence to the murder case is clear and present.
Therefore, it is faster to take down Gu Kailai on charges
of murder.
However, it is also known that many problems have not been
exposed during the hearing,
such as the economic crimes such as the sale and exhibition of
the bodies from Dalian. The source of the bodies is not explained."

The New York Times questioned why the trial failed
to address Bo Xilai.
Some international media commented that

Gu Kailai’s motivation to kill was not due to Heywood
threatening Bo Guagua’s life, as reported by Xinhua News Agency. There is a dark underside.

According to an exclusive report by the Epoch Times News,
Gu Kailai is the mastermind behind organ harvesting
and body selling.
In Dalian, Gu and Bo Xilai were the first to profit from
live organ harvesting.
Gu Kailai and Heywood had a joint venture in Britain
specializing in exporting the organs and bodies.
After realizing Heywood had deviated from their plan,
Gu and Zhang Xiaojun poisoned Heywood,
with Bo’s instruction, for fear that Heywood would
expose their crimes.

Zhao Yuanming: “This has gradually exposed the issue
of the cadavers plastination company, the body source.
Exporting bodies is related to the massive persecution
and repression of Falun Gong practitioners during Bo Xilai’s tenure as mayor of Dalian.
Many Dalian Falun Gong practitioners have disappeared,
and the whereabouts of their bodies is unknown. Thus, this question has gradually surfaced.”

Hong Kong English-language media South China Morning
Post reported on August 10 that
the trial of former Chongqing police chief Wang Lijun,
on charges of treason, will open next week in Chengdu.
However, the source said a lenient sentence would be handed
down because Wang earned “merits" during the investigation.
Wang is also believed to have revealed,
to the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection,
the materials he handed to the U.S. Embassy which
detail the crimes of Bo and Gu in connection to live organ harvesting and body selling.
In addition, he exposed Bo and Zhou’s coup plan at the US
embassy.

Observers believe Bo’s case will be concluded
before the 18th National Congress.
Legal expert Zhao Yuanming indicates that

Gu Kailai’s trial in fact helps the Central Commission
for Discipline Inspection to put pressure on Bo Xilai for obtaining evidence.

Zhao Yuanming: “I think both the cases of Gu Kailai and Wang
Lijun pave the way to deal with Bo Xilai severely in the future.
If Bo Xilai’s case is not handled and if he has the opportunity
to make a comeback, that will be the death of Hu and Wen.
Bo Xilai is ruthless and ignorant of all laws and regulations.
He will do all he can to achieve his final pride.
Troubles will accompany Hu and Wen with the survival
of Bo Xilai."

Hong Kong’s Ming Pao news believes that Gu Kailai’s sentencing
date upon her guilty plea is a bargaining chip to deal with Bo Xilai.
Under the present circumstances, Bo Xilai has been completely
defeated and no longer poses a threat to the 18th National Congress.

Bo Xilai, who is suspected of a coup, several murders,
corruption of huge assets, the persecution of Falun Gong,
organ harvesting and trafficking of the bodies, is the
prominent representative of the bloody hands gang of the CCP.
Zhao Yuanming points out that the full disclosure of these
crimes during the trial of Bo Xilai, would destroy the CCP.
